Dear angel,
Why is it that I believe in you?
Yet don't see you around
They say you are there
In the presence of the people
Around me
But when I look around
I don't sense you
Don't recognize you
Don't feel you
Nor understand you
You said you'll be by my side
Or even in my heart
But really where are you?
Where?
Don't run away from me
Or play hide and seek
Cause I want to know you
See you with my own eyes
Cause I need you here
To protect me from the wonderfully dangerous world and the species that reside there
They say they are destructive
But why?
I need you to explain
Teach
And learn
Understand and
Love
Me
You are an angel! An angel! How can you stay away from your mortal?
