Contract With The Queen [XI]

Katsumi

After annihilating 8 vampires, saving civilians and running into nobles we've finally arrived at Shinjuku.

Intercoms: "EMERGENCY!! EMERGENCY!!! THERE'S A VAMPIRE ATTACK!! THE WESTERN DEFENSIVE WALL IS UNDER SIEGE! ALL CIVILIANS, PLEASE EVACUATE TO THE EASTERN WALL NOW!"

Soldier1: "WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON?!? SHINJUKU IS THE SECOND CITY OF THE JAPANESE IMPERIAL DEMON ARMY!! THERE'S NO WAY VAMPIRES WOULD BE HERE!"

Soldier2: "JUST WHAT HAS THE VAMPIRE ANNIHILATION FORCE BEEN DOING?!"

Soldiers were enraged while others panicked. There was a whole bunch of commotion going on and I understood why they would blame us. They were scared that's what war does to people, they blame everything on someone else.

Yuu: "What's going on?"

Shinoa: "Didn't you hear what they just said?"

Soldier: "The Vampires Are Here!!!"

A loud explosion came from above us while helicopters were being fired at and taken down by the soldiers here. The attack was similar to the cursed gear we have but different.

Yoichi: "THAT IS JUST LIKE MY WEAPON!!"

Shinoa: "Not really. It's a downgraded version."

Katsumi: "Those are just normal weapons, but enchanted. They are like simplified forms of cursed demon weapons."

Mitsuba: "Typical firearms are useless against vampires, remember?"

Shihou: "Not good. This is turning into a full-scale war..."

Mitsuba: "It's just like Lieutenant Colonel Guren said. The Kansai vampires are planning to destroy us, the Japanese Imperial army."

Intercom: "SOLDIERS, GO HEAD TO THE WEST! THEY ARE APPROACHING WITH LARGE FORCES!! UNTIL WE JOIN UP WITH SIBUYAS MAIN FORCES... PLEASE DEFEND THE CITY!!"

Yuu: "So what about our squad?"

Shinoa: "We're from the Vampire Annihilation Force, you know?"

Katsumi: "When there are vampires we obviously strike! HEAD OUT!!"

Mika

Ferid: "Ahaa... We're being watched."

Mika: "We are?"

Ferid: "Ah, don't mind me. Just talking to myself. By the way, Mika. You sure you don't wanna suck their blood?"

I looked down to the grown where bodies lay in front of me, each and every single one of them dead.

Mika: "Shut up. It doesn't concern you."

Ferid: "This is a war, though. If you don't drink, then... there are laws in the vampire city. Drinking directly from humans there is forbidden you know."

Mika: "Hah... Didn't you break the law and drink my blood?"

Farid: "Haha. Don't say such disgraceful things, Mika. Weren't you the one who begged me to drink it? Also, you did steal my gun and map of the vampire city from my mansion just to escape."

Memories of what happened went through my head as Yuu's voice lingered as well.

Mika: "You toyed with me and killed my entire family."

Ferid: "Oh... You're a vampire now, yet you're still angry about the past?"

Mika: "I'm just angry... at the powerless me who couldn't protect them."

Ferid: "Blaming yourself, like always. By the way... The last remaining members of your family, Yuu Hyakuya, and Katsumi Miwa... are you going to protect them? That's love... AHAHAHA. Ah, Mika. Go suck some human blood. We wouldn't want to run wild as demons, No?"

Four years ago I was turned into this monster I am now because of the Vampire Queen's blood. She has been giving me her blood since then, without it I wouldn't know what I would become of me. The blood she's given to me will last me ten days... I got to find them by then. Suddenly an explosion occurred behind me and as I turned a human was there standing.

Ferid: "Whoa, Amazing! He killed them all just like that. So, the human's main forces are here too, Eh?"

Mika: "Main Forces?"

Ferid: "The Elites among the Vampire Annihilation Force. The Moon Demon Company."

Guren: "Sh*t. I missed the leader. Not that it matters though. Gaining more ground is still a win. Hey, Hope you guys enjoyed drinking all that blood. I'm telling you in advance, but that the last of your meal. Alright! Lend me your strength... DEMON SWORD, MAHIRO NO YO!"

Ferid: "How concerned, let's knock some sense into this funny human, Eh?! Laks and Lehne, group up with the others and restrain those surrounding the monster in the middle. And, Mika now shows me the power of the famous third founder Tepes Kururu. Let's kill off that cocky guy. OK?"

Mika: "Just me will be enough."

Ferid: "Aha I knew it. Sure thing. Run wild, people. The 13 founder, Crowley, is coming as our backup. Rest easy and get rid of these lowly humans."

Mika: "It's time! Sword.."

Soldier: "DEFEND THE GATES!! NO MATTER WHAT... DONT LET EVEN A SINGLE VAMPIRE THROUGH!!"

A Vampire was about to attack from above the soldiers who were near the gates. Before he was able to strike I quickly sliced the bloodsucker in half just in time.

Soldier: "Ah... you guys are..."

Soldier2: "FINALLY!! THE VAMPIRE ANNIHILATION FORCE IS HERE AT LAST!!"

Shihou: "Alright, most are being taken care of at the gate."

Yoichi: "What about other enemy attacks?"

Shinoa: "Doesn't seem like there's any, now."

Mitsuba: "Hey, guards. Wheres the rest of the Vampire Annihilation Force? "

Intercom: "BROADCASTING ORDERS. BROADCASTING ORDERS. RIGHT NOW LIEUTENANT COLONEL GUREN ICHINOSE OF THE MOON DEMON SQUAD HAS DISPATCHED. EVERYONE, PLEASE WAIT FOR THIS TIDES OF BATTLE WILL SOON TURN. NEXT ARE ORDERS FOR SHINOA'S SQUAD FROM LIEUTENANT COLONEL ICHINOSE. HEAD OVER TO THE 5TH DISTRICT AT ONCE! THE ENEMIES LEADER IS AT THE INTERSECTION! PLEASE HURRY!"

Yoichi: "The 5th district?"

Shihou: "It's close! we'll get there in no time!"

Intercom: "BROADCASTING ORDERS. BROADCASTING ORDERS. ORDERS FOR KATSUMI MIWA FROM LIEUTENANT COLONEL ICHONOSE. LEAVE THE SQUAD AND HEAD OVER TO HIS SIDE IN COMBAT IMIDEATLY!!!"

Katsumi: "As expected... Well, you head your orders head to the 5th district quickly!! Now Go!!"

Yuu: "What is he thinking to tell you to go on your own! Aren't we supposed to stay together!! What is he-"

Katsumi: "Orders are orders!! Now Follow yours and go!!"

She then ran off and headed to one of the buildings. I couldn't believe he's making her go on her own. What if something happens? That Guren is so dead if anything does.

Yuu: "Ugh! Let's Massacre those Vampires!!!"

I got a ride from one of the vampires helicopters. I was hiding under it and made sure they couldn't detect me my dark wings acted like a cloaking device to hide me from the others. I knew this one was heading towards Guren I just hope I get there fast enough if not I guess I'll have to fly...
