The Destruction Begins [IX]

Yuu

As we finished showering and all we heard a scream from the girl's room, but it sounded like it wasn't bad. It was more like someone got angry or something.

Yuu: "Girls take so long to shower... what the hell are they doing?"

Yoichi: "Ah ha ha ha..."

Katsumi: "Not all girls."

Yuu: "Oh well... I guess not..."

Katsumi's hair was still wet so I assumed she just finished.

Yuu: "What was that scream?"

Katsumi: "It was the other two messing around."

Yuu: "Messing around?"

Katsumi: "Your innocent mind wouldn't understand. There's no need for you to know what that means."

I hate it when she treats me like a child... why can't she see I've grown!

They were all drinking something and from the looks of it, they had just finished not too long ago. I then saw Shihou handing the girl from earlier a drink.

I guess he can be nice at times...

Shihou: "There is one thing I would like to ask you. Are you ok with that?"

The girl nodded in silence to reply to his question.

Yuu: "But you don't have to answer if you don't want to..."

Girl: "It's ok... it'll be my own way of thanking you for saving me..."

Katsumi: "There's no need to thank us. Don't worry about it."

Yuu: "Live a happy and healthy life that the best way to show us gratitude."

Then a slam of the door opening was heard and we look towards where it was. The two girls came out, still drying their hair and arguing a bit. As Mitsubia's eyes met Yuu's I placed my hand on his shoulder and leaned towards him. It was the same gesture I did with Ichi-san, but I made sure Mitsubia's eyes were locked on mine. I guess you could say I was a tad bit possessive to what belongs to me. After she saw that she blushed a bit and continued walking past us.

Yuu: "Eh?! What was that about?"

Shinoa: "You're as clueless as ever..."

Katsumi: "Yes he is, but that's what makes him Yuu."

Shihou: "Listen up then... it's about the hideout, where these vampires were keeping you..."

The atmosphere became too serious so I dragged Yuu away to the room we were staying at. He didn't mind sharing a room with me and I was ok with it as well. The others were in two rooms, one with Yoichi and Shihou, the other Shinoa and Mitsubia. I didn't want to be in the same room as those two because I knew they would argue and I also knew that Yuu would fight with Shihou so I assigned the room so that wouldn't happen.

Yuu: "About tomorrow... be careful..."

Katsumi: "Don't worry, I'm stronger than you think... umm... I was wondering... do you happen to like anyone?"

Yuu: "I have no time for stuff like that."

Katsumi: "If you did, who in our group would you pick?"

Yuu: "W-why are you asking--"

Katsumi: "Just answer dummy!"

Yuu: "Who do you think I'd pick. There's only one girl that I actually care about and that doesn't annoy me or boss me around to death."
