The Demons Nightmare [XVI]

Katsumi

Its been a while since I've been with the squad since I had to fly and monitor some areas. One of my usual things which I do but the last time I went out I saw Mika... This time nothing unusual happened, it was just chaos and saving survivors. Once I came back from my trip I heard news of Yuu yelling at Guren, him being accused as a vampire spy, fighting with Guren and Shinoa, and overall making trouble. I really can't understand what I see in him to have fallen for him. We were currently camping out for some training since they are still new at using cursed gears. Other than Yoichi that is, it seems that he's been able to train on his own when we saw him defeat three horsemen with a long distance attack.

Yoichi: "I did it, everyone!"

Yuu: "Hey... DID YOU JUST BRING YOUR DEMON OUT?!?"

Yoichi: "Huh? Oh yeah, I did."

Yuu: "HEY SHINOA WHAT'S GOING ON HERE?! WHY'S HE ALREADY ABLE TO MATERIALIZE HIS DEMON?! WAS HE THE ONLY ONE YOU TRAINED!!!"

Shinoa: "Ahhh no, Yoichi has always had an unusually high ability to control demonic curses. It looks like he learned it by himself."

Yuu: "For real? YOU'RE AMAZING HOW THE HELL DID YOU DO THAT?!"

Yoichi: "Well, it's nothing that impressive, but I talked a lot with the demon while I was asleep. So I just sort of became able to use it..."

Next thing I knew Yuu began to complain which eventually lead to arguing with everyone else about proper use of his cursed gear. I knew from the start this would eventually happen and I honestly had little interest in being involved so I just sat back and enjoyed the show as Shinoa and Mitsuba explained. Not interrupting this time as usual... maybe.

Shinoa: "Alright, then we might as well start it here. Mi-chan?"

Mitsuba: "I've got no complaints. We should be fine at this distance... Well, if nothing else, their Demonic curse weapons are ridiculously strong."

Katsumi: "Sure is gonna be 'scary' if something goes wrong. Hopefully, their demons don't go well... mad."

Shihou: "... m-mad?"

Katsumi: "What's wrong? Scared hehehe..."

Shinoa: "Okay, let's start the lecture on how to really use your demonic curse weapons."

Time Skip

Yuu sure was impressive during his fight with Mitsuba... I guess he's getting stronger and stronger before my eyes huh...

After witnessing their training I decided to head off on my own only notifying Shinoa. I knew Yuu would be in good hands and I made sure to tell Shinoa I'll be back around night fall. I was currently taking a stroll not too far from the campsite. The sky was already growing dark but I continued to wander off thinking about what awaits for us.

Katsumi: "At least we're making progress... hmm it think this is far enough."

I was far enough from the campsite and surrounded by tall buildings and from what I was able to tell no one should be able to see me. I took a deep breath and relaxed myself as I focused my energy. Since joining the army I haven't been able to experiment on a few things. I spread my wings out sending a light gust of air around me. My dark wings reverted to white and with a flap of my wings the feathers scattered around me, floating on thin air. I then tried to control each feather slowly though it was difficult I managed to get some under my control.

Katsumi: "I wonder if I can turn them into daggers..."

I started with one feather and focused on it trying to shift it into a dagger like weapon. The white feather became dark and glimmered like a sword. I then aimed it towards a run downed car and it hit but next thing I knew it blew.
