Blood Vessel World [I]

A world where Vampires rule the land and children are being held as livestock was the kind of world I was exiled to. A world of destruction as monsters ruined Earths beauty and turned into nothing but ruins. This world will become my new home and I must learn how to survive.

Katsumi

I had just arrived to this desolate part of the city and body's surrounded by blood lay on the floor. Most of them to me looked like adults and not a single child could be seen. I knew I had to stay strong but how can a 9-year-old girl do so after being told I can no longer be with my own flesh and blood. I looked around once more to find a place I could stay, but before I could do so I heard noise from down the street and I walked towards it. With my swords miniaturized and wrapped around my neck, I held on to them. From the corner, I saw vampires loading tied up and blindfolded kids into the truck. I wanted to just run, but I knew I just couldn't let them take those kids away. Before I could decide on what to do a hand rested on my shoulder and my decision was already made for me.

"You think you can hide here little girl. Don't worry, you won't be left behind."

He then carried me over his shoulder and walked towards the truck.

"You sure are an obedient one. I wish the rest were like you. Did you know one of them tried to bit me? Ha ha ha, funny right who bits people!!"

Once I got tossed into the back of the vehicle the door got shut and the weeping voices of the others could be heard. As I looked around they were all blindfolded and I knew they were already scared as is, so I moved closer to a boy with dark messy hair and touched his cheek.

Katsumi: "Don't worry I'm just going to remove this thing off of you ok."

He then nodded and relaxed. I could tell he was tense and scared, but moreover probably worried about the others.

Katsumi: "Everyone is safe and I've almost got this thing off"

After a couple of seconds, I finally got the blindfold off his eyes then untied the ropes around him. His eyes reminded me of emeralds when I first saw them that I couldn't help, but stare for a moment. His face soon reddened and I averted my gaze.

Boy: "Who are you? Why are you helping me?"

Katsumi: "Why? Well because I felt like it."

Boy: ". . ."

Katsumi: "I'm just kidding, I could tell you were scared as well as everyone here. I thought it might help if you guys weren't all tied up and all, by the way, my names Katsumi Miwa. How about yours?"

Yuu: "Yuuichirou Hyakuya, but I usually go by Yuu."

Katsumi: "OK Yuu-kun, you can call me Ama-chan"

Yuu: "Ama-chan?"

Katsumi: "Yep! Since you're my first friend you get the privilege of calling me that!"

Once I finished I asked Yuu who we should untie next. He pointed at a blonde boy named Mika who was sitting not too far from us. As I undid the ropes Yuu went behind him and removed his blindfold.

Yuu: "Don't worry Mika we'll get this off of you."

Mika: "We'll?"

Once Mika said that his blindfold came undone and his eyes aligned with mine. After a couple of seconds I was finished, but he kept looking at me.

Katsumi: "It's nice to meet you Mika-kun, I'm Katsumi Miwa, but you can call me Miwa!!"

Mika: "Thank you for helping us Miwa."
