Chapter 18

-----------Caleb----------
After Hanna ran upstairs. I wanted to go after her but Ashley stopped me.

"Give her some time" she smiled sadly

I nodded and sat on the couch waiting for her to see if she came down or not.
About thirty minutes later Ashley came into the main room.

"Caleb, do you mind if I talk to her first" she asked.

I shook my head no. She nodded and went upstairs.
----------Ashely (Hanna's mom)----------
I walked up and Hanna was sitting in her room looking off into space, tear stained face with makeup everywhere.

"Caleb" she asked in a voice I could barley here.

"No, Han its me" I answered

"Where's Caleb" she turned around "did he leave" she asked wanting to cry more

"No" I shook my head " he's downstairs, I asked him if I could talk to you first he said yes" I explained

She nodded "why does he hate me so much" she asked crying again

"Oh Hanna" I walked over and hugged her. "He doesn't hate you, he's an ass, he wants you to be happy, but the way he wants you to be happy not the way you want to be happy" I said

"What does he have on Caleb, what did he ever do to make my dad hate him so much"

"Nothing Hanna, Caleb's great" I said meaning it "do you want me to let Caleb up"

Hanna nodded so I went downstairs.

"Caleb, Hanna wants to talk to you" I said he nodded got up the sofa and went upstairs.

I went upstairs and found Hanna sitting in her room

"Han" I softly said

She looked up at me, she had mascara running down her face. I sat down beside me and she broke down. I didn't know what to say to her. She was dealing with so much. First of all she had two stalkers that threatened her with every mistake she made, they kept her hostage, tortured and one of them raped her more than once. When she finally got away she was free for only a day before they took her away again. She got shot and stabbed and raped all in just 24 hours. Again. She finds out the identity of the stalkers, only to find out that she kissed one of them and befriended another. While she went to find out the reason why, her basterd of a father offered me money to break up with her. Since I turned down the offer he took it out on her, and slapped her. She has a reason for her tears it's not because she's weak, she been strong for too long. After an hour of crying she finally falls asleep on my shoulder. Now I make a promise to myself, that I would do anything to keep her safe.

3 months later

----------Hanna----------

Finally today is the day that I finally get to leave this terrible town. Me and the other five girls were outside of Ali's house saying our goodbyes. 

"Wow saying goodbye is way harder than I thought it would be" Ali sighed 

"How lucky am I to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard." Spencer said

" What brilliant scholar said that" Emily asked 

"Winnie the Pooh" we all laughed 

We all hugged each other and said our last goodbyes and started heading to our cars. 

I got into the passenger seat of my car since Caleb was driving. 

"You ok Han?" he asked 

"Yeah" I sighed " I'll just miss them" 

He kissed my head and started driving. I opened the window and let my hair go, ready to start the next chapter of my life.
