Chapter 19

Five years later ...

----------Hanna----------

I looked down in my hands was the letter that Alison has sent me asking me to come back to Rosewood. I wasn't going to come at first, but I decided to come anyways. My plane just landed now I was waiting so I could get my suitcase. I got my suitcase and soon spotted my mom waiting for me.

"Hey mom" I beamed

"Hey sweetheart" she said hugging me "I missed you so much"

" Me too" I answered

We walked over to her car and got in and started driving towards the Radley hotel. My mom gave me my room keycard and left me alone so I could settle in. Once I unpacked all my stuff I texted the girls to see if they wanted to meet at the Brew. They said yes, so I started driving over there. Once I got there, I saw Emily taking a sip of her lemonade.

"Guess who" I asked

"Oh my gosh" she said.

We hugged.

" eww get a room" I heard Spencer said.

"Well it's a pretty big room" I smiled.

We all hugged and took some crazy selfies. Then sat down to catch up.

" So Aria, you first" Em said " anyone special in your life"

"Well there is my co-worker, Liam" she started "and he's adorable but he hates it when I tell people that" she laughed.

"What about you Em" Spencer asked

" Well I was going out with Paige, but when my dad died we sort of lost touch" she said sadly. "anyways what about you Spence?"

"Spencer has been too busy to see anybody" she turned to me " What about you Han"

"Well two years ago I started dating my current boyfriend named Jordan" I smiled.

"wow Han! how come you never told me anything about this" Spencer asked.

"Well I've been to busy to keep you up with my relationships" I laughed

"Guys this was fun but I promised my mom I'd be home for dinner" Emily said rolling her eyes "Apparently mothers never change when your 23, they're still the same"

We all laughed, said our goodbyes and headed our own ways.

I drove back to the Radley and ordered some food to deliver to my room. About 5 minutes there was a knock on my door. I opened it expecting it to be room service but it wasn't it was Caleb.

"Hey Han" he said

"Umm Hi. Sorry I thought you were room service" I said

"Oh sorry it's just me" he laughed. " so how have you been" he asked

"Great" I smiled "so where are you staying?" I asked

" Well right now I'm staying in Spencer's barn" he said " I was actually with her when she got the letter"

"ohh I didn't realize that you guys were that close" i said feeling a little sad

" Yeah we met in DC and we sort of got closer" he said "Ok well I should probably get going" he said " bye Han"

"Bye" He was about to walk out the door but I stopped him.

" Caleb, wait" he turned around and I gave him a hug.

At first I think he was kind of surprised but then he hugged back.

When we were hugging each other, the door swung open.

"Hey babe! I wanted to- ohh"

"Jordan! What are you doing here?" I said confused.

"Well I was going to surprise you but then I saw you with him" he sounded pissed.

"Han I should go. I'll see you later" Caleb said walking out the door.

"Who the hell was that?" Jordan asked

"It was just a friend from high school" I lied

"Ok well then I don't want to see you with him ever again" he hissed

"Jordan! you can't stop me from seeing him" I yelled

" You will" he shouted as he slapped me across the face and the slammed the door shut.

The man I thought loved me just slapped me. Oh how I wish Caleb would be here, to keep me safe in his arms. Five years ago I was so sure that he was my hero, my soulmate, what changed?
