Chapter 21

----------Spencer----------

Yesterday was the best. I finally got to kiss Caleb. I know Hanna is one of my best friends but she should be happy for me right? I mean she gave me permission to date him so there is nothing wrong with it. I wanted to you know ... but I felt like he didn't want to, but I wasn't going to pressure him. I feel myself falling in love with him already.

----------Caleb-----------

I kissed Spencer. I don't know why but I did. I feel kind of weird for doing that. I still love Hanna, but I will never tell anyone that. I could tell that maybe she wanted to, well you know, but I couldn't do that to Hanna. I know that I should't be thinking of her that way when she has a boyfriend but I still love her so much. After thinking about Hanna for some more I finally got off the couch, grabbed my keys, and went to the Brew seeing Hanna and Emily together. 

"Hey Han, Hey Emily" I greeted them

" Hey Caleb" they answered. Emily in her regular cheerful voice but not Hanna she was forcing a smile but i could tell that she was not happy at all. 

"I'm going to use the restroom I'll be right back" Emily said leaving

"You ok Han" I asked her sitting down in Emily's seat. 

"Yeah I'm fine why do you ask" she smiled. But I knew it was fake

"Hanna can you just stop lying to me" I said starting to get a little annoyed. 

"Caleb I'm not lying to you" she snapped "You decided that my problems didn't matter years ago anyway. And in case you forgot I have a boyfriend who actually cares about me unlike others". 

"Come on Em lets go" she said to Emily who had just got back. 

Again, I thought. I just let her walk her out again. Why do I keep letting her go. 

----------Hanna's POV----------

"What was that all about" Emily asked as we got in the car. 

"Nothing Em. Don't worry about it" I mumbled 

She knew I was lying but she didn't push it.

We got to her hotel room which was the same one where Jordan hit me. Emily opened the door and we walked in. 

"Hey Hanna" Jordan said causing me to jump. "Where were you sleeping with Caleb"

"No she was with me. and this is now my hotel room so get the hell out" Emily snapped.

"Oh Emily, she's my girlfriend I can do whatever I want with her" he smiled sending a shiver down my back.

" No I'm not" I spoke up "I am not your girlfriend anymore Jordan. I don't want to be with a guy that I know is going to slap me every time I do something he doesn't like" 

"Hanna I would never do that again" he apoligized

"Save it. Just leave" I snapped 

I sighed finally I was done with him.

"You ok Han" Emily asked.

"I definitely will be" I said knowing that I would. 

"Alright Han. Now come on our couch awaits" she laughed.

----------Caleb's POV---------

After Hanna left me alone at the brew I couldn't stop thinking of what she said. 

You decided that my problems didn't matter years ago, she said to me. I never stopped caring about her. I let her walk out because .... never mind I don't even want to think about that day anymore. I finally got up and went back to the barn and found Spencer sitting down on the sofa. 

"Oh hey Caleb your back. I thought you were going to go get coffee then come straight back" she said. 

"Yeah I was, but I saw Hanna and we started talking and it got ... complicated" I sighed 

"Oh yeah what did you guys talk about" she asked sounding a little bit annoyed. 

"Umm... just her work, her relationship with Jordan, stuff like that" I lied not wanting her to know the real reason.  

" Ok well I'm going to go get ready for Charlotte's release debate thingy" she smiled leaving.

---------Spencer----------

I can't believe Hanna would still be talking to him ... alone. I really do NOT want them alone together. I would tell her that today after the hearing. I got into my car and made my way to the court. When I got there I saw Aria, Emily, Hanna, Alison, and Mona. 

"Hey girls" I greeted them

"Hey Spence" they answered smiling. 

We entered the court room and each gave our statements. Everyone agreed that they should let her out but Aria said she didn't. We all were surprised since we all agreed that we felt safe with her out, but at least she was honest. Once we got out I texted Caleb if he could come pick me up he said yes. I decided it was time to confront Hanna. 

"Hey Hanna can I talk to you. Alone." I ask\

"Yeah sure" she answered "What's up" she said once we were alone 

"I just wanted to tell you that I don't feel comfortable for you and Caleb to be talking alone" I told her. 

"Why, he's my friend Spence" she sounded confused. 

"Yeah Hanna but he's my boyfriend so stay the hell away from him" I snapped. 

"Whatever" she mumbled walking back to Emily.

I saw Caleb's car pull up. I got in and started to kiss him. At first he seemed surprised but then he started to kiss back. I pulled away. I looked out the window and saw Hanna and Emily looking at me surprised. I'm not proud of what I said to Hanna but it just had to be said.
