18 - Encounter In The Rain

- Nobody's POV -

''We are here!'' Sai said. (From the North)

''We are here!'' Suigetsu said. (From the South)

''Finally! Can't wait to destroy this village!'' Naruto said to Suigetsu.

''Finally! We have to stop Naruto no matter what!'' Sakura said to Sai.

They all ran to the center of the Hidden Rain. They saw each other. Naruto was shocked to see Sympio on the other side...

''Sympio! You're okay thank Goodness!'' Naruto was happy. He wanted to walk over to her and get her back, but Sympio shook her head.

''N-na-naruto! Stop destroying villages!'' Sympio said, a bit scared to turn her back on the Jinchuriki. She knew this was going to be trouble since the blonde couldn't take 'no' for an answer.

''WHAT?!'' Naruto's anger was building up. He bit his underlip.

''Destruction and sadness won't solve anything! It will only get worse! The world will fall!!'' She said to him. ''Come on... Don't do this..'' She wanted to take his hand, but he slapped her hand away.

''You... You traitor!'' Naruto looked right into Sympio's eyes.

''The hatred from before!! EVERYONE! YUGON TOO! GET AWAY FROM HIM, NOW!'' She yelled. Everyone gazed at her but did what she said. She wanted to get away herself, but Naruto was too fast for her.

Naruto grabbed her arm. ''Let's have our fight somewhere else..'' The true self said. Sympio had a sad and angry look on her face at the same time.

Sympio turned to Sasuke. He saw a tear rolling down her cheek. Then they disappeared.

''No! Sympio!!'' Sasuke and Suigetsu yelled.

They looked confused at each other. ''No need for explanations. You have the same reason as I do to be worried. Let's go, I can sense Naruto's chakra!'' Suigetsu said. The both of them disappear too, hoping to be on time for the brunette.

Sai and Sakura were looking at Orochimaru and Kabuto. ''I don't feel like fighting,'' Orochimaru said, bored while leaning against a building in the shadows. Kabuto rolled his eyes. ''Me neither, I'm gonna take a nap,'' Sai said, making himself comfortable on a stone wall. ''HOW CAN YOU TAKE A NAP WHEN SASUKE IS IN DANGER?!'' The pinkette yelled at her friend.

''It's Sasuke, no need to be worried,'' Sai said in a bored voice. He closed his eyes and placed his hands behind his head, trying to fall asleep.

''Oh if I were you I should worry. A lot. Naruto's true self is stronger than me, Jiraiya and Tsunade together.'' Orochimaru said smirking. Kabuto only grinned as he looked at the two enemies in front of them.

Sai's eyes widened. Sakura's face was getting pale. Sakura grabbed Sai's leg and she ran off, following the path that Sasuke and Suigetsu took. They both heard Sai complaining about how she pulled him, without asking her.

''So, Lord Orochimaru, what are we going to do in the meantime?'' Kabuto asked polite, looking at the sky.

''Waiting for the ones that survive I guess..'' Orochimaru chuckled as he summoned his little snake to play with his hand.

- Sympio's POV -

Ok, I'm officially done for.. I guess... But he suddenly grabbed my neck and pinched it. I was panicking, scared to die from losing breath. So I grabbed his hand and tried to pull it away from me.

''Naruto..'' Is the only thing I could say.

''I don't want to fight you..'' I said, trying to stop him, while I was struggling to get out his grip.

''Well I don't want it either... But you have too much information about me!!'' He yelled at me. Naruto let go of me and turned his back to me, walking away a few meters.

I was standing in battle formation, just in case. I had my scythe ready to strike.

''Naruto... Do you remember, that time when we were looking at the stars together... We can do it again.. Please... I don't want to fight you..'' I tried one last time.

''Well that's unfortunate for you!'' He made a Rasengan and was coming at me, full speed.

I was trembling. My body didn't move...I closed my eyes and waited for him to strike. But I felt nothing. I slowly opened my eyes. He was standing right in front of me.

''You know, Sympio... It hurts so bad... You're afraid of me..'' There were some tears rolling down his cheek, as he was pinching his orange jacket.

I wanted to cheer him up, but I'm so scared. My mouth won't open and my body won't move. I was just standing there...I could only hope for my brother to show up and save me, but he's dead.

Naruto sighed. His Rasengan disappeared. He slowly walked towards me. ''This is why I hate people I like.. If they betray you, It hurts so bad..'' He spread his arms very wide... I was so scared... He came closer and closer and... He.. He...
