I quietly walked into the hotel room and all the task force stared at me.
"Hi," I said quietly, waving, "L can I talk to you alone I need to show you something."
"Yes, excuse me," he said standing up, and walking over to a part of the hotel room they wouldn't hear us in.
"Ok L I'm gonna tell you something and I want you to please not get super mad.~"
"What did you do," L sighed looking up at the ceiling.
"I may have looked around Lights room," I said.
"You know Mrs.Hudson won't be happy to hear this," he said.
"That's why I didn't say I was going, anyway I didn't take anything, but I took photos of what I found.~"
"What did you find?"
"Look," I said taking the camera out and showing him the photos of the notebook, including the pages.
"This is interesting I will be printing these photos out as evidence and I will go to get this so called 'Death Note' tomorrow, good work," he said taking the camera from my hands. Immediately after, my phone went off.
"Sorry!" I exclaimed pulling the device from my pocket.
"It's quiet alright I was about to tell the rest of the task force to leave anyway."
I nodded and answered the phone, it was Ms. Hudson.
"Hi Mrs. Hudson, it's been awhile," I said.
"Hello deary I just wanted to check up on you," she said happily through the phone.
"I'm alright I'm not certain but I think the case will be coming to a close soon," I said.
"Oh that's wonderful! I hope you catch Kira soon!"
"Me too, I'm pretty sure I know who it is.~"
"I'm not surprised, well I have to go glad your doing well see you soon!" She hung up.
She was right I would see her soon, which is great, justice would be served, but at the same time I feel so sad about it. The case ending means I'll have to go back to my life in the orphanage where I was by myself most of the time. Where I would get interviewed repeatedly and never adopted. Where I had to reflect on my past I'd rather forget.
