(L x orphan!oc) Not Exactly a Normal Teen

Parks and Schemes

We pulled up to the empty, nature infested, park. I hopped out of the car and L soon followed behind. Once Watari drove off I immediately ran towards my favorite dock, L walking behind me. I sat down and waited for L to sit beside me.

"So how come you invented me here?~"

"I figured you needed something like this as I'm assuming it's been awhile since you've bonded with someone like a parent."

"Yeah but your not my dad.~"

"You see me as a father figure though don't you?"

"Well yeah I guess.~"

"Then I guess I'll behave like one to you."

I simply nodded and stood up.

"I'm going to head over to the swings care to join me?~"

"Sure," he stood up and followed behind me.

I sat on the swing and was about to push off when I felt 2 hands push my back sending me flying through the air. 'L is pushing me!'

"Woah what are you doing?!" I asked frantically.

"Isn't this what most fathers do?"

"Yeah but you don't have to be a father to me your not my dad," I laughed as he pushed me again.

"I'm taking care of you while you aren't at the orphanage," he said,"besides if we look like father and daughter we could use it as an undercover for the case."

"Alright Mr.Detective," I smirked and enjoyed being pushed on the swing.

After about fifteen minutes of this I flew off the swing and landed on my feet in the sand below.

"It's getting kinda dark we should head back," I said cheerfully.

"I'll call Watari."

After ten minutes of waiting the old man finally pulled up in the nice black car. We both got in the back and I rested my head against the window. It's been 4 days since I last slept and I was extremely exhausted. How I had the energy to play at the park I don't know. Once we made it back to the hotel room I said I was going to try and get some sleep and went into the bed part of the hotel room.

I sat down on the bed and pulled out my notebook from my backpack and made a list of clues showing Light is Kira. If I can get into his room I could probably gather some evidence.

"There's no way L would let me go into Lights house I'll have to sneak out.'

I devised a plan to make sure I won't get caught. Mrs. Yagami will be shopping tomorrow at 1:00 Light and his sister will be at school and Mr. Yagami will be here. Perfect! Once I've devised my master scheme I hid the notebook got under the covers and tried to sleep so I could be ready for tomorrow.
