Chapter 6

Diego's POV

I was at the cafeteria eating lunch with Scott. I don't know why its so difficult to please Diana. When we were at the cinema, she actually ignored me the whole time. I will just stop trying to make friends with her.

     "Diego look, that girl has been looking at you and batting her eyes for the past few minutes we have been here. I think she is trying to gain your attention." Scott said.

I looked at the girl Scott was referring to. She didn't even try to hide the fact that she was staring at me because she smiled at me. She stood up from her seat and started walking towards our table. Then I saw a guy walking towards Diana and Megan's table. I saw as he was smiling and greeting Megan. I really wanted to know what he was saying . I couldn't help it and I used my vampire instincts to listen to their conversation. He was actually asking her out and she accepted. I don't know but I felt pain. I hadn't noticed that the girl had already arrived our table and she was staring at me.

      "Hi,anything I can do for you?" I asked.
      "Not really. I just wanted to be friends."

She smiled a flirtatious smile and put some locks of her hair behind her ear. I looked at her appearance, she was having long,straight, blonde hair,emerald eyes and pink lips. She looked pretty, I think she is one of those girls that like to flirt with boys.

     "I saw you two and I really got interested ."She said. By the way,my name is Tamira ."
     "Tamira nice meeting you, mine's   Scott."Scott said.
    " And mine's  Diego. "I said.
     " Can I have a seat? "Tamira asked.
     "Yeah,sure." I said.
     "So you two are friends?" Tamira asked.
     "We are best friends." I said.
     "Wow,you guys are great. I don't have a best friend but I heard its fun to have one." Tamira said.
     "Yeah,he is like a brother to me." I said.
     "So,I'm throwing a party at my house,I would love that you guys should come."

She was saying this and particularly looking at me.

    "If you actually give us the address we will come." Scott said.

What! Is he crazy or what?I'm not planing to go to any  party especially with this type of girl.

     "Scott don't you remember that we had to go out and do shopping this weekend and have a boys night out." I said giving him a sign to agree with me.
    "We didn't plan on such. I can't remember us planning anything like that.

Stupid Scott.

   " Hey, don't forget to bring your swimming suits ,we will actually swim. "Tamira said.

She stood up from her seat ,pecked I and Scott on the jaw  and left. I glared at Scott.

    " Why did you accept to go to that party ?"
     "I like parties,so this was an opportunity to go to one."
     "Not to a party organized by that girl. It is not like I hate her and neither do I like her."
     "I understand but still let's go."
      "You even refused my attempt of refusal when I gave you the sign to comply."
     "I knew you were trying to make an excuse for not going to the party. Before Tamira came ,I saw you looking at Diana and I saw when your pose stiffened when that guy came to their table and suddenly you  became too focused,if I should guess you were listening on their conversation."
     "Yes."
     "So what did you hear?"
     "I discovered that the guy's name is Fred and he is taking her out on Friday at seven and Saturday at noon."
     "She accepted?"
     "Yes."
     "So that's it?"
     "I couldn't hear the rest because Tamira came."
     "Bro,I think we have exceeded our break time."

I looked around and discovered that we were the only ones in the cafeteria.

   "You think we should leave school?" I asked.
   "I think so . I  have to even visit the pack. Scott said.
     " Okay let's go. "

Diana's POV

Days had finally passed and it was finally Friday. I had to be prepared because Fred will be coming any time soon. Megan said she was going to a party that Scott and Diego had told her of. She said she was lucky because she never had anything to do this weekend. Megan sat on the bed waiting for Scott and Diego because they were taking her to the party. We heard the door bell ring. We went towards the door to check and I saw Fred standing with a box of chocolate in his hands.

     "Hey." I said.
     "Hi. Here take this." Giving me the chocolate. "Couldn't come empty handed."

I smiled and took the chocolate.

      "Thanks."
      "Your welcome."

I heard a car stopping in front of our house .

   "I think my ride has come." Megan said.

Diego and Scott came out of the car and walked up to the house. Diego smiled at Megan and gave her a hug.

     "You look beautiful Megan." Diego said.
     "Thanks. Always the gentleman."
      "Hey Diana." Diego said.

Diego came closer to me but I backed off.

     "So Megan is he your boyfriend?" Fred asked referring to Diego.
      "No." Megan said.
      "Okay,we need to go now. Diego and Megan, we wouldn't want to be late at the party."Scott said.
       " Which party?"Fred asked.
      "A girl in school named Tamira invited us. She is the one that has the party ." Scott said.
      "Hey Megan,you haven't introduced us to your friend." Diego said.
      "Oh,Diego this is Fred,Fred,Diego and also that is Scott."
      "It's a pleasure meeting you two."
     "You wouldn't want to be late for your date? Will you?" Scott asked.
      "No actually and we are not on a date. It's just friends going out." Diana said.
     "We should be leaving now." Fred said.

Fred and I started walking towards a different direction  when I saw Megan, Scott and Diego entering inside a car and driving off.
