The Mystery Fighter
Seventeen-year-old Cassandra Haynes has never been the one to follow rules.
Without giving the numerous threats of expulsion from her teachers a second thought, Cassandra lives in no fear of the lack of a proper education. But when a death in her family occurs, her mindset quickly changes. Now in charge of her seven-year-old sister and a house they cannot afford, Cassandra decides to pack their bags and leave the only place she has ever known for an apartment in a more secluded area in the neighboring city.
With street fighting being her expertise, and well-needed stress-reliever, it is only fitting that the illegal sport proves to be Cassandra's most efficient way of income as they struggle to get by. Yet, as she transfers old habits and tendencies to the new city and her new school partially filled with persistent, arrogant soccer players, Cassandra soon learns that old enemies and grudges journey over the city border, as well.
On the getaway from child services, and the childhood she so desperately wants to forget, Cassandra's hope for a peaceful life in the new city slowly begins to crack.
Torn between trust and instinct, law and moral, and her constant need to protect her sister; Cassandra finds that life on the street of gangs has just risen to a whole new level.

When being a loner and the protective sister of her last family member that she now has become, Cassandra isn't eager to let anybody else into her life. However, currently living in the back room of a fighting bar, on the getaway from child services and with suspicion that their every move is being tracked, contributes to slowly breaking Cassandra's hope for the peaceful life she had promised her little sister, Celine
In the midst of these challenging times, the school's head soccer player- and Cassandra's former tutee- Julian, has found out about her double life. However, the previously annoying boy turns out to play a bigger role in Cassandra's life than she thought.
Survival (ON HOLD)
"Alex, I'm scared," my little brother whispered as we lay face down on the ground, waiting for the armed people to walk past us.
"I know, Lukas. As soon as those people are gone, we'll find a place to stay, okay?" I whispered back, never taken my eyes of the people that wouldn't hesitate to kill us if they saw us. Just as they almost passed the clearing, they stopped. I lifted my head up to get a better view, when they saw me. Not wasting any time for them to get us, I sprung to my feet and hauled Lukas after me. And just how I guessed; they fired.After a disease took over a village in North-America, your only hope of survival was to run, and run far. Already before the disease began to spread, the village was suffering. There was little food, cold all year around and a population too big for it's own good. Unlike the neighberhood city, which was bathing in money, more or less. Of course all other cities in the area around was disgusted by us, and couldn't care less that the whole city was suffering.
Without a second thought Alexa took the remains of her family, got her few belongings and took off to the woods. Determination to not give up was in her head at all times. But what happens when it gets to hard to protect everybody she loves. And what will she do when she meets a new, myesterious boy from the rich neighberhood city?
