All I Need - Headcanon #1

1. Apologies for the wait, I have a lot of stuff in the making for this at the moment so look forward to that.

2. This is a little bit different, it's more of a headcanon than an imagine or anything like that. I thought it'd be a decent idea idk let me know what you think. If you want more like this be sure to tell me.

Halsey & affection

Public

Ash loves to show you off.

She'll kiss you in public whenever she wants to.

It's almost always a peck on the cheek, the jaw, occasionally the lips.

In public your hands are never not linked, she always has her fingers laced with yours wherever you are. She kisses the back of your hands a lot.

(If she isn't holding your hand she's probably got an arm around your waist).

With friends (hers and/or yours)

Since you're both comfortable with each other's friends it's a little bit more relaxed.

Usually when with friends you guys have quiet evenings at one of the houses/apartments owned by any of said friends and have movie marathons or quiet drinks.

This often results in Ashley sitting as close to you as possible, sometimes on your lap just for that extra bit of comfort.

It usually isn't as intimate as it would be at home, but it's always obvious you're together.

She usually rests her head on your chest and has an arm wrapped around you loosely, sometimes holding your hand and playing with your fingers. (Or vice versa).

She doesn't hesitate to kiss you in front of your friends. It's only ever light kisses, some lingering on your lips more than others. One thing you discovered shortly into the relationship was that she can't go too long without kissing you.

With parents/family (yours and/or hers)

You and Ashley weren't exactly afraid to show affection for each other in front of your parents and you didn't really hide it, but it was a little more reserved when they were around.

She'd always call you 'babe' in front of her/your parents. It became a habit early on and stuck.

If you ever got a moment alone with her she'd always kiss you tenderly, tugging playfully at your collar or cupping your jaw.

Those kisses seemed to be full of promises and happiness of being with you.

She'd stare at you at lot when you were with her family or yours. She loved to watch you interact with them, but also partly because she was desperate to admire how beautiful you looked when you were remembering old memories or looking at old photos.

You'd sometimes have her sit on your lap, in which you'd wrap a secure arm around her waist and lean on her shoulder.

You both tend to get caught up in conversation with either family, and end up staying far later than you want to. Ashley is often tired before you with her workload, so she leans on you and does her favourite thing- plays with your hands. That's how you know she's ready to go.

(She'll always tell you how much she loves you in the car ride home).

At home (casual)

It's rare that you and Ashley are at home at the same time for more than a few hours with her busy schedule and your constant workload.
