Chapter 4: The Hot Springs

(2 DAYS LATER)

All of us decide to take a short break at a hot spring. Since Zabuza wanted to keep as much money as possible, he gets 2 rooms. 1 for him and 1 for I, Haku, and Sky. At this Sky scoffed and bought her own room. Like she wanted to share a room with anyone right now. Or was it her plan that I and Haku get a room to ourselves. Hmmm... (^_^) Not like we were complaining though. (^_~) After getting situated I left for the springs first. I looked around and spot a sign. It said, "Open Air Bath. Open."

"Cool! An open air bath. I've never used one of these," I think out loud to no one in particular. I rush into the room, but forgetting to turn the sign that said, "Open" so that it would say "Occupied." The warmth of the air was very welcoming. I remove the robe, and I airing and slip into the water. "Ahh...this feels nice," I say. I open my eyes and look up at the moon. The moon was big and full and shinny. Wait Full! "Oh S***!" I say, and just as my tail and ears pop out. My claws and fangs appear and my eyes changed to golden yellow. "Nuts-N-Fudge! I should have paid more attention to the phases," I thought.

I hit myself on the forehead. My ears prick as I hear footsteps. Double-noo-noo. I look around for a hiding spot. "The water fall!" I think. Just as I splash my way to the watery hiding place and the door opens.

I hold my breath and duck so that only my eyes were above the water. It was Haku in a robe. I notice that he was about to take it off too, so I ducked under the water until I hear him get in. When he does I came up slowly and start to pray that he doesn't find me. Looks like he hates me then and Haku started to glide over to the water fall. I start to panic, so I did what I thought was best. I duck with my back to him and hoped that he doesn't look behind the water fall.

"What's this?" I hear Haku say. I feel myself being yanked by the tail out of the water fall. I hurry to cover my ears. "L-Luka! Is that you?" Haku asks, completely shocked by his finding.

"Uhmm...Hi there Haku," I say. "Do you mind letting go of my tail?"

"Oh sorry. Wait, why do you have a tail in the first place? He asks, letting go of my tail.

"Well...you see...I kind of transform into my demon self on the night of the full moon, tee hee," I say. Keeping my back facing Haku.

"Uh...did you always have that tattoo?" Haku asks, as touching my back.

"Sh**! It's there this time!" I say and try to look at my back. Failing to see it, I made a mirror out of the water and see the dragon tattoo that covered nearly all of my back. "Sh**! Why tonight of all nights?" I cry and sink under the water, so only my head is above the surface.

"Uhh...should I get out?" Haku asks looking a little uncomfortable.

"I don't care, but if you do stay could you get me a towel and put one on yourself?" I sigh. Haku decides to stay, so he gets a towel for each of us. "Thanks." I say. He nods. There was an uncomfortable silence between us two.

"The water is nice and warm," Haku says, breaking the ice.

"Yeah, it is," I say. There was silence.

I'm bored, so I made the water into puppets and made them fight. Then I had an idea. "You want to try a water bow? I can make an ice one also. Watch!" I say. I stand up so that the water is at my waist, and then make the water form into a bow. Then I made an arrow and point to the sky. I pull back and then let it fly into the sky. Then I make it burst like a firework. I smile and made one for Haku. "Your turn," I say.

"Uhm...okay," Haku says as gets up and takes the bow. Then another arrow flies into the sky.

"Heh heh..." I take three arrows and shoot. "Poof!" They blow up. We do this for a long time until Sky comes in and yells at us, and saying that she couldn't get any sleep with all this noise. At this I throw a water ball at her. Then we two had a water fight, and then ends with a giant hole in the wall......Yikes. Sky fixes it quickly then runs away to her room. I and Haku runs back to our room and fall on the floor laughing. Yin and Yang pounce, so we all wrestle for a while. All four of us fall asleep in a heap of pillows and blankets.
