CUTHBERT HERNANDEZ GETS NEW GIRLFIREND LEAH!

This was starting to get ridiculous.

Cuthbert in the photo was snuggling up next to a gorgeous red-headed beauty. I felt like the knife that had always been there was being driven deeper into my chest and twisting inside me.

"I met this beauty at a Quidditch game. She was so pretty that I asked her on a date, and she said yes. I really think she's the one," Cuthbert said to the reporters, one arm looped around Leah.

Leah is known for her works in modeling. She has won ten Most Charming Smile awards and fifty beauty pageants when she was only ten years old! Her other sent her to a modeling school later on, and she continued to win many other prizes such as Top Model of the Year along with winning several other worldwide beauty pageants. "I think it's about time I take a break from beauty pageants and start searching for hearts," Leah explains. "Cuthbert is a true sweetheart and super hot and famous. He and I match well."

Is Leah the one and only for the mighty Cuthbert?

"What the heck?!" Aliena scoffed. "She'll be dumped just like all his other girlfriends. I don't care how pretty she is or how many beauty pageants she's won or any other prizes!" I didn't speak. I couldn't. I couldn't think, couldn't breathe.

"I need to take a walk."

I watched the muggle cars drive by, partly wishing one would hit me. 

I should be used to this kind of stuff by now. I knew I wasn't good enough for him, for anyone. 

So why did it hurt so much?

"Read the Daily Prophet today?"

I whirled around to find Cuthbert smirking at me. I forced my voice to stay cold. "Yeah. Congrats. She's a real beauty." He laughed bitterly. "You think beauty is all I care about."

"That is all you care about."

"I care about you."

"Ha. Not funny."

"You think I really love Leah? After all we've been through?"

Silence.

"Where have you been these past two weeks, Dawn?"

"With my family."

"Of course. Always about your family, isn't it? Even back at Hogwarts. I never understood why you love you family so much."

"If you ever were part of a proper one, maybe you wouldn't be so jealous."

"Jealous? Jealous?! The great Cuthbert Hernandez jealous of some random girl's family?! Ha!"

"I haven't forgotten what you said about your father."

"I haven't forgotten the promise you made to me all those years ago."

"I remember your promise too, you know."

"Look, I wasn't entirely sure dating some old Hogwarts girlfriend was the best idea. But when I dated all those women, I realized none of them were as amazing as you. I missed you, Dawn."

"Now you have Leah."

"All you have to do is say, 'Cuthbert, I choose you over Goodwin,' and I'll dump Leah for you. I don't love Leah. She's not my type. I just wanted to make you jealous. Isn't that why you used Goodwin? To make me jealous?"

"You're sick!"

"You'll be back, Dawn. You've always been mine, and I've always been yours. That will never change."

I turned and ran. How far was Cuthbert going to take this? To him, this was all a game, and Leah was a pawn he was willing to sacrifice to win the game of chess.
