You were so happy.

There was nothing more to it. Hide had asked you out about a week ago and this was your first date with him.

You couldn't believe it. Your (E/C) eyes sparkled in the sun as if you had just experienced life for the first time.

And everything had to be perfect, you fixed your hair and makeup numerous times and could not decide on an outfit.

Of course Hide wanted to start the date at Anteku where his best friend worked.

You didn't mind though. Kaneki was one of your best friends as well, so was Touka. The people there got you. They understood you and they never judged. They were such nice people.

You walked through the door of the small coffee shop and saw Hide sitting right there at your usual spot, next to the open window at the stool table. You smiled and walked over to him. You sat down with a warm smile plastered onto your face.

"Woah...(Y/n) you look so beautiful...," He said starring at the outfit you had chosen to go for on this date. He couldn't take his eyes off of you.

"Awe...thank you Hide!" You replied.

He wasn't dressed up at all. He was actually in his normal clothes. Even though you didn't go too fancy you did put some thought into your outfit.

He just threw his together at the last moment.

But that was a thing you loved about him. That he didn't care what others had to say about his life and the way he likes to do things. He was just so open minded and loveable.

I mean who wouldn't want to snuggle up with him and watch a movie?!

Anyway, you both sat down at the table and a few minutes later Kaneki-ken himself walked out with your favorite kind of cake.

The kind that was always just out of your budget. You smiled.

"Here you go miss (Y/n). Its on the house tonight." He smiled with that eyepatch covering his eye as always.

"Thank you Kaneki." You smiled at him and then looked at Hide.

"No, no its my pleasure, you two have fun tonight, just be careful!" He smiled and waved knowing that if he didn't get back to work Touka would blow her top.

You both ate the cake, drank some coffee, talked,  laughed, and held hands on top of the table.

The evening was going great. Kaneki would check in every once in a while for a refill or to make sure Hide wasn't being a nuisance.

"(Y/N) I want to show you something...something amazing...and its not you!" He said grabbing your hand throwing down the money on the table and running out the door.

"Slow down Hide your going too fast!" He stopped right in front of his bike where he handed you a helmet.

"Don't you need a helmet too?" You asked a little worried.

"Nah I'll be fine. Besides such a beautiful face with an equally as beautiful brain should not be getting damaged." You blushed a little bit and got onto the back of his bike as he rode down to the water.

On the way he told you to close your eyes.

You were getting impatient with the keeping your eyes closed thing. It was so difficult, especially with your arms wrapped around him tightly.

Then you felt the bike stop and him pushing you forward onto the seat as he got off. You put both your feet on the ground to stabilize yourself and felt his hand cover your eyes.

"Hide-" You started.

"Ready?" He cut you off impatiently.

"Yes!" You yelled.

And he uncovered your eyes.

It was sunset and the purples, reds, blues, and whites all mixed together like a painting in front of your eyes. Your mouth opened a little bit as you looked at the beautiful sunset glistening on top of water in front of you. It was like a painting but the colors were so vibrant and beautiful that no one could ever re-create them.

Hide smiled seeing you liked it and got in front of you taking your chin onto his hand. You felt your face heat up a little bit.

"And if you would...allow me...to...," He said trailing off as both of your faces got closer and closer.

You could feel his warm breath on your mouth and he could feel yours. And in a soft and gentle motion he placed his rough lips against your soft ones. And you could feel the world around you melting into oblivion as it was just you. Him. And the sunset.

You were both lost in each others lips. Completely unaware of the ghoul lurking in the shadows.

(( Dun dun DUN. Cliffhanger! I can do a second part of this if you all would like...lets see...if this gets...3 stars or more. Then I will definitely do a second part! Until then see ya later my weaboos! ))
