Chapter 19

Getting up early and going to the venue was hard. I was running on only a couple hours of sleep due to reoccurring nightmares, all with Him in the starring role.

"Niall? Niall? We're here" Jerry says repeating my name multiple times while reaching back from the front seat to shake my knee and hopefully get my attention. "How are you doing, Niall?" He continues while parking the car in a spot that is fairly close to the tall building.

"Tired, Mate, tired" I respond while rubbing my hands across my face in hopes to take away the tiredness. Shocker, it doesn't work.

"Maybe they have some caffeine for you in there, let's go," my driver says while opening the door and guiding me towards the front doors. He probably knows this place really well too.

The mini show and meet and greet were being held at a radio station that I interviewed at for 'This Town'. They invited us back once 'Slow Hands' dropped and did so well.

"Niall, it's been a fe- you look drained," Jason says. "What's up? Not sleeping well in the apartment? Jerry, what's up with him?" My boss continues questioning while bringing me over to a coffee machine looking around for someone to make me something probably.

"The apartment's fine, Jason. I just didn't sleep well last night, right Jerry?" I respond trying to get the older man less worried. It's not his problem.

"Oh, yeah, we all have those nights," I nod in response. By now there's someone starting up the coffee machine wondering what we all would like.

"What's the plan for today?" I question sipping my caffeinated beverage.

"First you have a couple fans to meet in like 20 minutes and then you'll play like 4 songs for a room full of your fans. That's all for here, after that we're headed to another station."

"Ok."

Before I know it I'm stood in front of a sheet that has the radio station's logo plastered all over it and being told that there is a group of 20 people who are anxiously waiting to meet me.

The first person to walk in the room is a teen girl, probably around 15. "Hello, darlin'," I say as she walks over to me, a smile growing on her face. That's because of me "How are you this morning?"

"I'm good, how are you?" she responds, standing next to me.

"I'm good, excited, come here," I say opening my arms for a hug. I'm a hugger.

We take some pictures after a couple more minutes and the meet and greet continues on.

"Just a couple more people, Mr. Horan," A lady from the station says.

"Thanks, Linda," I asked for her name before the session started.

As she opens the door to let the next fan in I'm greeted with a very familiar face, one I didn't think I'd see.

Kinda short. I was going to go on but I thought this was a good cliff hanger.

Who's there to see Niall?

Nothing really interesting happened in this chapter. It was gonna go down but plans change and here I am.

My last day of teaching summer school was today so I now have 3 more hours in my day to fill up.

Also, today (The 26th) in the 2 year anniversary of my 1st OTRA show in Minneapolis. Time flies.

I hope you enjoyed and are feeling the suspense lol.

Thank you for reading
