     After a short, yet soothing, shower, I get dressed. Believe it or not. I hop my over to Nathan's office and see a lot of men scattered around fixing the destroyed room.

     Approaching a random man I ask, "Have you seen Mr. Sound Barrier?"

     "Lounge room I believe," he replies to me. I spin around and rush that way. Stepping into the room, I spot Nathan sitting in the corner. He looks comfortable reading  a book in one hand as the other hand is holding a half filled wine glass. I go stand in front of him, but he must be too sucked into the book because he doesn't seem to notice me. Must be an interesting read to not notice someone about 5 inches away from you.

     Mental Gasp! I just got an idea! I swiftly go to the kitchen and grab 'the box'. When I return to the room, I'm happy to see Nathan hasn't moved yet. I open 'the box' and pull out a straw. Carefully I put it in the wine glass. He still hasn't realized. I put my mouth on the straw and begin to drink all it's contents. When it's gone, I pluck the straw out of the glass.

     Now we wait.

     Nathan finally goes to take a drink, but becomes surprised to find it empty. "Wha- I could of sworn- ?" 

     "That shit had a fancy taste. It was good."

     "How- But-?"

     "I'll never tell," I giggle, "So  is dinner done yet?"

     "No."

     "Good. Cancel it!" I tell him. Nathan follows what I said by making a face that wants me to continue what I mean. "Ugh...After talking about Chris, I want to go to Lost Paradise and hang with him..............I mostly want free drinks."

     "Normally I'd say no, but I think we can go. It will be a way to make up for earlier." We instantly get ready for the club and go.

     When there, Nathan steps out of the limo and walks past the huge line of people waiting to get in. Normally people would make a fuss, but considering this is Sound Barrier, I don't think they mind all that much. That is until...we get to the door. Well when Nathan gets to the door. I'm a little ways away because my short legs can't keep up with tall peoples legs. Dammit shortness.

     As Nathan gets up to the door, he's stopped by the bouncer. "What are you doing?" Nathan calmly asks the man.

     "You ain'ts on the lists."

     "Excuse me? Do you know you I fucking am?"

     "Course I dos. But you can't gets in if you ain'ts on the list."

     "I will- " I step in front of him and cover his mouth when I finally get there. I look up and smile innocently, though my eyes show no sign of mercy.

     "Mikey, believe it or not, Sound Barrier is with me. So let us in please." I say sweetly. Mikey nods with a hint of fear and opens the door for us.

     Stepping inside, it smells of heavy liquor and techno music plays with strangers getting drunk or dancing in a lewd manner. Or both. Suddenly Nathan grabs my shoulder and turns me to him. Looking me straight in the eyes he asks me, "Mind explaining to me what that was about?"

     "You don't know? You may be the strongest around, but Chris isn't that far behind you. I've found easiest differences between you two."

     "That would be?"
