As it was a regular day at my house. It was 6:00 am and you were fooling around with your little brother. The year ish 2009, I'm 7 and still as shy as ever.

As I walked into the play room I heard yelling and screaming from my parents. They were having another argument again. I'm too young to understand what it was. As I walked away from the play room I pulled my unbrushed hair over my ear. I went over to the living room and watched educational kid's shows. Then I heard the yelling and screaming get louder.

*Few months before*
I was just sitting down criss-cross-apple sauce style. My mom comes up to me and my siblings who were sitting down with me to not to worry. She blasted the stereo on high and went to the driveway to talk to my dad's mom. They were obviously arguing.

*Sometime before that*
Dad had to sleep in my older sister's and my bedroom, he stole mah bed and I had to sleep in my sister's bed. Mom kicked him out of their bedroom.

*Back to now*
I slowly walked into the kitchen where mom and dad were yelling. Dad pushed mom down the stairs. My heart was pounding so hard I was in some sort of shock. I knew I was able to scream but I didn't. I ran away into my room scared that dad would hurt me too, my siblings did the same.

*Next week*

My dad isn't at home. I've been told he went to Florida. I soon had to move to my other grandma's house. My mom has big black-and-blues from the fall.

*couple weeks later*
As I walked to my friend's house which was one house down I see a tall, rough, way older looking man. He says "Boo." After that I run behind my sister. He laughed. I was blushing with embarrassment.

*Couple days later*
The man that scared me is my mom's new bf. He is bossy because he tells my siblings and I what to do a lot but in the end he is nice, caring, sometimes understanding. I realize that this guy is my father, not that fake one who said he was. This one who stepped up to the responsibility, not the one who ran to Florida to get away from it.
