A loud laugh escaped Sofia's lips as Mike spun her round in the middle of the dance floor. It'd been weeks since they'd last seen each other, yet the pair of them were acting as if they had never been apart.

"Careful. Careful." She laughed as he pulled her close to his chest. "I'm going to fall, these shoes were not made for this." She mumbled looking up at him with a smile plastered on her lips.

"Sorry." He chuckled softly biting his lip as he carefully brushed a piece of hair out of her eyes. "Sorry." He repeated as his eyes slowly made their way to her lips. Honestly he was tempted to just kiss her there and then, but he couldn't. She had a boyfriend who she was more than happy with, he couldn't ruin that for her.

"It's fine." She shrugged pretending not to notice him pretty much staring at her lips. "We should probably go find Lincoln and Ben." She told him before grabbing his hand and dragging him through the crowds over to the table they'd left their friends at. However when they got there an extra person sat with them. Alex.

"Hey, I didn't think you were coming." Sofia smiled as she pulled away from Mike and made her way over to her boyfriend going to sit on his lap. However before she could he stood up looking rather angry.

"I'm not staying." He told her taking his hand in his own rather forcefully. "Nor are you." He added as she looked up at him rather confused.

"What?" She asked carefully pulling her hand away from him shaking her head.

"We're going home." He frowned at her as he turned to leave only to stop when he noticed she wasn't following. "Sofia, come on." He grumbled turning back to her.

"No." She told him as she took a step or two away from him and towards Mike. "I don't want to."

"You're cheating on me aren't you?" He snapped suddenly. "That's why you wanted to wear that dumb dress earlier, you wanted to look good for this asshole?" He spat as Sofia shook her head feeling her heart speed up in her chest.

"That's not true Alex and you know it." She spoke trying her best to remain calm as she reached out to him only for him to knock her hand away. "I would never cheat on you."

"Then what were you doing with him when I got here? Why weren't you with Lincoln and Ben?" He questioned as the other three boys exchanged nervous glances. Was Alex always like this with her?

"Mike and I wanted to dance, they didn't." She explained earning a laugh from her boyfriend.

"Bullshit." He shouted making the short girl's legs buckle slightly as tears welled up in her eyes. She should have known this would happen. She should have known that he hadn't changed.

"It's true." Ben's voice came from beside her as he quickly rose from his seat wrapping a protective arm around his friend. "They were just dancing. Sof loves you." He nodded but Alex still didn't listen. He obviously didn't want to listen to them. It was almost like he had been looking for an excuse to explode at Sofia.

"This doesn't concern you." He told ben before yanking Sofia out of his grip and heading towards the door. Naturally her friends went to follow but she just shook her head. They'd only make it worse.
