One week Later

You woke up at 7am to take your kids to school. You got up made a pot of coffee then went to wake them up.

"Wake up its time for school." You yelled and threw pillows at both of them.. they both came out of their rooms moaning and groaning. "Get ready and come out to eat. P.s its cereal" You went back to your room and got ready yourself.

They got ready and both ran down the hall into the kitchen. "What kind?" You asked.

"Lucky charms" they both yelled.

"I raised you good" you said pouring the cereal and then the milk handing them spoons to eat.

"Who needs help putting on their shoes?" You asked.

"I do mommy" Mason said. "I dont mommy" Maya said.

You helped Mason with his shoes checking what they're wearing is appropriate for school. Once everything checked out you put on your shoes which were just slip on toms.

"Off to school" you said running down the stairs. Both of your kids got in the back seat while you started the car up and you plugged your phone onto the aux cord and played whatever came on your spotify.

And of course tear in my heart came on. You wanted to cry but you couldn't not while your driving and with your kids in the car.

Flashback

While writing the note you had for Tyler you were shaking and sobbing. You couldn't believe that you were leaving him. Yes you wanted to marry him and one day have his kids but not in high school. You loved him with every fiber of your being. So of course this is hurting you.

Is this the right decision?

Was the question you kept asking yourself. He told he was working on a song for you but he wouldn't tell you any of the lyrics he wouldn't even hum the song. So all you could do is wonder if this was the song he was working on before leaving.

After you got done writing you went to tylers house going to his room where is was sleeping at the time. You took the note/letter and opened a random page in his song book and put the note in the journal. You looked at him leaned over to kiss his cheek tears threatening to spill from your blue colored eyes.

"Goodbye Tyler. I love you don't you ever forget that" you whispered.

He pretended to be asleep but we was wide awake almost freaking out.

After he heard the door close he jumped up to look out the window. He saw you walking quickly down the sidewalk wearing his sweater wiping the salty tears as they quickly formed in your eyes and fell to hit the cement under you. You looked up to his window one last time to see him standing there looking right back at you with worry and confusion plastered all over his face.
