You were sleeping peacefully until your kids came barging in the room. You panicked until you looked beside you finding no Tyler just a note.

Hey I left early to the studio managers wanna talk about new music. Think about what I said.

Maya crawled beside you while mason just jumped on you trying to get to you before his sister.

You folded the note and held both of them. You laid there for a good 10 minutes indeed thinking about what Tyler said yesterday.

You wanted him to give you a second chance. Just not so soon.

Maya telling you that she's hungry got you up and you made your way to the kitchen.

You saw a bunch of roses on the counter with a note.

It's Valentine's day. You know what that means. You dont know how many times I spent this say alone in my room ignoring the world and if you think I'm not going to make this day special your most certainly wrong, my love. It'll start after my meeting lol

You smiled finally happy on this god forsaken holiday. You usually spent all Valentine's day watching cheesy movies with a whole bunch of unhealthy junk food cuddled up in your blankets.

You hated valentines day after you left Tyler.

One year though you actually almost sent him a letter but you just didn't in fear he would find you.

You cooked breakfast for your kids and yourself. You put all the dirty dishes in the sink silently telling yourself to clean the kitchen later.

You probably won't though (@v).

You set your kids up with television and some toys along with some coloring books to keep them quiet while you go check the mail.

"Okay I'm going to check the mail can you guys handle being alone for 2 minutes?" You grabbed keys while throwing on a hoodie.

"Yes mom" they said in unison.

You left grabbing your keys to the mailbox. The first thing you saw was yet another bouquet of flowers. Thinking it was from Tyler you left it there until you came back.

Looking though the mail you see one envelope that catches your eye.

You picked up the flowers still confused.

I was upset when I found out you left and went back to Ohio. You didn't even give me a chance to say bye to my kids... well no worries I'll be there in no time. ♡

You tensed. This is most certainly not from Tyler. You re read it.

You tensed even more.

Another reason you left is beacause when you left tyler and went to live with your mother. You had met somebody.

Not just met but re connected with somebody.

When you lived in la as a child you had josh your best friend. You guys met in 2nd grade and y'all we're inseparable since the day you moved away, which was the summer after 8th grade.

But while 7th grade and 8th you started to like him and he always had feelings for you. Of course you guys started dating not knowing you would be moving in a year.

You guys said you would keep contact. And you did- until you met tyler. After you started to gain feelings for tyler you cut josh off saying that it wasnt going to work out.

Then when you went back to LA your mom thought it would be a good idea to have him over first thing when you landed.

That night you were so sad, so alone, so hopeless, and so broken- you didnt know why you let it get that far. You didnt know why you led him up to your childhood room, you didnt know why you let him stay longer then needed. You didnt know why you let him lead you to your bed as he laid you down.

You didnt know why you let him kiss you like tyler did. You didnt know why you let his hands roam your body like tylers once did. You didnt know why you let him hold you like tyler did.

Maybe you let him bacause you were imagining that those were tylers soft hands instead if his rough ones, imagining that it was tyler who was giving soft gentle kisses instead of joshs hard sloppy, and rushed kisses.

Maybe you let him hold you beacuse you imagined that is was tyler who was holding you while whispering little i love you's, and rubbing your arms where his hand laid, so he didn't make you uncomfortable by putting his hand somewhere else it shouldnt be. But instead you got joshs hands rubbing, and caressing things that should only be touched by tyler.

You felt disgusting, so dirty. So unbelievably disappointed and disgusted with yourself that you couldnt look at yourself for the next week. You avoided every mirror and when you messed up and saw yourself in the mirror you couldnt help but vomit.

But that could've been the morning sickness too.

And then you started to get big. He was convinced that it was his. And he had the right to have that suspension even though you told him that you had sex a week before which is why you moved.

He then would tell you were nothing. Always bringing up the fact 'you left him for somebody who could never love me like he did and does'

He assumed you guys were dating. He didnt even give you the option to day no.

And that is Josh Taylor. Your childhood best friend and one horribly great one night stand and abusive "ex boyfriend"
