All the names were being called quickly, so fast, that my turn was approaching. I listened to how the interview went, listening to the questions and thinking about the answers. Though, after a while, I had become insouciant in what some of them had to say and zoned out. I stared at the waiters stride swiftly around the back with plates of platters, desserts, and main courses, setting them on a elongated black table in the far back.

My stomach growled in response.

I looked at Nick who had his eyes set on me. He raised his slight thick eyebrows at me as if it were a question: Are you okay?

I nodded reassuringly though I wasn't sure myself.

I decided to distract myself from hyperventilating by listening to some of the other's interviews.

"Hell- O beautiful. Whats your name?" Cameron asked coquettishly.

The crowd laughed slightly as Cameron scooted closer.

"I'm Stacy Hannen," she paused, looked at the crowd and winked " a.k.a the future winner of JamminStudios." The crowd roared with excitement as she grinned at the cameras and posed fakely.

"Woah, woah, woah there. I see you have a little confidence in you. How are you so sure you are going to win?"Cameron asks.

"Have you seen the competition here?" she said using her fingers in the air, making air quotes "I barely find it any competition at all."

I scoffed to myself.

The entire crowd goes "OOOOHHHHHH" as Cameron turns around to look at all of us. I noticed his eyes lingered on me for an extra couple of second before turning back to Stacy.

"So tell us Stacy, how have you gotten yourself singing in the first place?"

She paused looking at the crowd, leaving the whole room silent, she slowly started speaking.

"I just started to sing in the shower, " some immature men wolf whistled at the mention of her in the shower" and then I realized I had something. I mean, obviously you guys did too, since you sent me a letter." She laughed obnoxiously.

"And what do you plan to do with the money if you win the half a million?"Cameron prompts.

"When I win, not if, I will probably just go spend it on everything I see. I mean you only live once, right guys?" She asked the crowd as the whole audience screamed, stood up for her, clapping and cheering her on.

I swear, if they had roses, there'd be a million of them right now flying towards her landing at her feet. If you ask me, I think its mostly because of the dress she was wearing. It was a fuchsia mini dress with an extensive, frilly train in the back. It showed a lot of skin, it definitely wasn't my taste. It was more of a prostitute kind of dress than anything else, but yet, it fitted her somehow.

I glanced at my shoes and thought about how expensive they were. I couldn't believe they cost me so much, well Nick so much. I was really finding my shoes interesting and about wondering how they made them so well. Was the I was still looking at my shoes when it seemed extra quiet, like people had stopped talking.

I look up slowly to find everyone's eyes set on me, even Cameron.

"Go up there, you idiot."The guy on my right who previously scolded me whispered.

I stood up, though I feel stiff like as a board. I somehow forgot to walk and stumbled on my heels, not that I have a problem walking in heels. I looked around the crowd and started to sweat like a maniac.

Thank god for Dove Deodorant.

I smiled to myself as I walked thinking about how awkward I would be if i didn't have any on, keeping my arms close to my body so the scent wouldn't intoxicate Cameron and kill him.
