Chapter 6 (BMC & DEH)

Evan-
Before I knew it I woke up on a bag with a note with the sound of Pac-man in the background. I got up and looked around, Jeremy and Michael were playing Pac-man while Rich and Jake were watching them playing.

I pulled out my phone and held it close to my chest. The room was dark. I silently cried. And started texting Jared.

Tree_Expert: Hey, do you, um have Connor's number.

The_Cronch: Connor Murphy's?

Tree_Expert: Yes.

The_Cronch: No but I can get it,,
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°). Why??

Tree_Expert: Because, I'm worried. Ok. Just what's his number??

The_Cronch: Hold on I'll ask Zoe.

Tree_Expert: How do you have Zoe's number??

The_Cronch: Our community needs to plan things and stick together.

Tree_Expert: What??

The_Cronch: You'll understand soon enough.

The_Cronch: *Insert phone number* here you go treebro!

Tree_Expert: What?

The_Cronch: Nothing just call the number.

Tree_Expert: Fine.

I got up and went into the restroom in the basement. I dialed the number.

"Hello," asked a tired voice.
I smiled at his voice, my chest hurting worst, I had a panic attack then.
"C-Connor?" I cried.
"Hey, who is this, are you ok?" He asked concerned.
"Y-yeah, I-I'm sorry, i-it's Evan, H-Han..." I couldn't finish clearly.
"Hey it's ok, why are you crying, is someone bothering you, where are you??" He asked.
"I'm at a f-f-friends, I-I'm crying b-b-because, y-you scared m-me," I said.
"Hey, shhh, I'm ok, ok? You wanna hangout tommorow since it's Winter Break??" He asked.
"O-okay, b-but before you g-go, I need to, to, tell you something," I said.
"I know I do to, but I'm too scared, tell me tommorow," he said, before hanging up.

I got up and walked back in the room, the lights were on, and Pac-man was off. All of them looked at me. "I-I'm sorry..." I started but was cut off by Rich hugging me. "I know, I'm scared too," he whispered so only I heard him. "You appoligize too much," he stated still hugging me, but louder than the whisper. "What do you know?" I whispered quietly. He looked at me with eyebrows raised crossing his arms.
