The Prophecy Luna's POV

Chapter 17:

i wake up to things banging I get up and once again grab my baseball bat but it's my dad his packing boxes, "what's happening dad?! I yell he looks up startled, "the vampires know where our secret hideout is, we have to leave it's not safe!" My dad says looking back at the boxes, I sigh "dad!" I say giving him the look saying I don't want to leave, but deep down I know we have to, "fine then." I say grabbing a box and walking into my room, I pack up and go  with my dad, there is another hideout I didn't even know about, it's hidden really well and it's huge, I think I'm gonna like it here.
After unpacking I go check out the kitchen, I love cooking so it better be good, "O-M-G!" I scream as I see the size of the kitchen, "omg omg img I love it!!!" I run to dads office "I love this house!" I yell he looks at me telling me to quiet down a bit, I roll my eyes "I'll be in my room" I say walking out.
I walk to my room, I can hear my phone ringing, "hello?" I say weary "omg I haven't seen you in ages we miss you girl!" I hear from the other line, it's Bella "hey are you coming to the party tomorrow?" She says completely changing the subject, "I uh didn't know there was a party?" I say back annoyed "yeah Kate's party, I can't believe no one told you?!" Bella says surprised, "well I wasn't invited." I say with a bit of anger in my voice, "you have to come! If you come everyone else will and Kate should know that." Bella says trying to make me feel better. "Fine I'll be there." I say abruptly, "good!" Bella sounds really happy, "I missed you!" She says really excited. One long 3 hour phone conversation later, "okay bye" I say hanging up, do I really want to go to this party? Or do I just want to get back on Kate for not inviting me, I can't believe her we have been best friends since year 3 and she just decides to try to push me to the curb, nuh-uh won't happen I'll show her what it's like to mess with me. Like seriously first she steals my man now this, she will regret it.
I walk to my dads office hoping I can help him with something cause I'm extremely bored, as I'm walking there I feel someone grab me and pull me into a room, they cover my mouth knowing I'm about to scream, they are really strong so I clench my eyes shut not knowing what to do, then the person goes flying back as heaps on my energy goes I fall to the ground. "Luna? Can you hear me?" I hear opening my eyes, I'm in my bed and Toby is standing over me, "Luna are you alright?" He says looking really concerned "what was that? How did you do it? I look at him "I don't know.." I trail off.
"We need to tell your dad!" He says standing up, "there's someone in the house though!" I say standing up looking in his eyes he looks away "yeah uh about that um that was me..." he says looking like his just committed the biggest crime ever, I playfully punch him, "seriously?" I say rolling my eyes.
We walk to dads office and I explain about the 'power' I've been able to use, dad looks like his seen a ghost, "no, no it can't be true!" He mumbles to himself "what?" I say confused,
"We need to go see Destiny!" Dad says looking mad. "What? Who's that?" I say looking at dad his got his head in his hands and looks really upset, "dad its alright." I say trying to make him feel better, "I swear! I told her to leave my family out of her prophecy shit!!" Dad says full of anger he picks up a chair and throws it across the room, I duck just in time to not get hit, his smashing things now and I'm worried, "DAD!" I scream but he doesn't listen, he looks really angry at what ever this Destiny has done, Toby grabs my hand and leads me out of the room, "give him some time." Toby says giving me a smile, "but I'm worried about him!" I say starting to cry, he wraps his arms around me and whispers "he will be okay, his a tough guy." He holds me tighter and kisses my forehead. I go to my room wondering who this 'Destiny' is so I try to find information on her on the internet but I don't know her last name so it's no use. I walk to dads office listening in to the room, "Toby you don't know what this means!" I hear my dad yell I can hear Toby saying something but I can't make out what his saying I keep listening, "she could die! I can't let her die! Toby you don't understand!" My fathers yelling "it's just a prophecy! It could be fake!" I hear Toby yell "no you don't know Destiny she writes a lot of prophecys and they are never wrong!"I hear my dad yell, "plus the prophecy says about a war! We can't deal with a war right now." My father says I can hear someone sigh, "but the prophecy says she and some- wait did you hear that?" I hear someone coming to the door so I run to my room as fast as possible. Toby walks into my room, "you shouldn't be eavesdropping your fathers conversations." Toby says looking at me really seriously "I wasn't" I say trying to look confused, "Luna we aren't stupid." He says looking disappointed, I sigh "I'm sorry" I say looking at the ground, "it's just....you know my dad his over protective, it's not like he is gonna tell me what's going on, I had to find out myself." Toby looks at me and sighs "I get you" Toby never talks about his life and his very hard to read, so often I wonder what his life was like before the pack. "What were your parents like?" I ask him he takes a deep breath "my mum was a beautiful person, you remind me of her, she was always adventurous and out there, she had the biggest heart, she forgave people really easy." He looks sad I've never seen him like this. "And your father?" I ask looking him his expression quickly changes he looks mad, angry and once again I've never seen him like this, I go to hug him but he pushes me away, "he was a bad man, he never deserved my mothers heart, of her forgiveness!" He says looking really pissed off, "I'm sorry.." I say looking him in the eye he stands up and just leaves slamming the door behind him. "Toby!" I yell running to the door, it's jammed, I try kicking it down but it won't budge, I take a deep breath and focus all my energy on the door, it goes flying open on the 6th try, I didn't think that would work. I run to his room and his got his music blaring and his doors locked. I push against the door, I try to do what I did with my door but it doesn't budge I push against the door again, "TOBY!" I yell while banging on his door, he just turns the music up louder, I sigh I hear my dad coming and I know it can't be good, "what's with the loud music!?" He yells I look at Toby's door, "what happened?" I sigh "I don't know" I say walking off.
I lie in bed stressing all night until I finally fall asleep.
