Chapter 48: times have changed

I wake up on the floor exactly where I had fallen. I slowly pull myself up and walk to my bathroom, I sit in the corner on the tiles I look over into the mirror and just cry to myself. "Knock knock" "knock knock" i just ignored my door not wanting to talk to no one "Luna I know your in here I can smell you" I hear my dad yell from the other side of the door "maybe cause my closets there!" I yell mocking him, he chuckles "Luna open the door!" He says stern "I can't be bothered" I say brushing him off "Luna I'm not stupid I can hear it" he says I stop when I remember that Alphas have more powerful hearing where they can, like vampires, hear heartbeats. I stay quiet I hear him sigh "Luna trust me when I say this; Things *will* get better" I look down at the floor, I slowly stand up and unlock the door, he slowly opens the door and pulls me in for a hug. It feels like we are hugging for hours until I pull away remembering Midnight was over "shit Midnight was over!" I yell he lightly chuckles and whispers "don't worry she went home" I smile "okay cool"
3 years later:
It's been a long 3 years Toby is still in a coma and tbh everyone believes it's well and truly time to let go of him but I won't let them turn off his life support, yes it's been 3 years but still there's a chance, Skyla is now 9 and is my everything along with her 3 year old.... sister Isabella (named after Bella as we were pregnant at the same time) Isabella has beautiful White blond hair just like me and blue eyes just like mine, Bella had a beautiful baby boy 6 months younger then Isabella (as wolfs are only pregnant for 2-3 months because wolf bones grow faster) Bella named him Ethan and is now married to his father, David. yes I'm 23 I've become very close with the personal trainer I met at the cafe her name was Avery and she has a brother called Adam that I've gotten close to. Yeah I know what your thinking 'WTF LUNA YOU HAVE A FIANCÉ IN A COMA AND 2 CHILDREN TO HIM LIKE WTF' but I always needed someone to talk to and I guess Sam was always there for me but not just for me but Skyla and Isabella. After I had Bella I became very depressed and I was a wreck, I'm so grateful that Miakoda, Avery and Adam were always there for me helping me bring up Bella.
I finished school, not that I ever really went, turns out that when i saw my 'sister' at school it was a clone the vampires made trying to lure me in, also you know how i made a friend called 'Hayley' well she was working for the vampires and if i hadn't have realized that she was acting weird well Skyla would probably be dead because Hayley's job was to get close to me then kill Skyla while Toby was supposed to be dead (another failed job from the vampires) to bring me down and then it would be easier to kill me but my pregnancy threw them off as they weren't expecting it, any way point is they didn't do a good job apart from Toby now being in a coma that he may never wake from. The times really have changed, i remember just before starting school i was only the Alpha's daughter nothing more nothing less, i had barely any drama in my life but now i'm supposed to stop a war and save not only my family but all the other family's depending on me and Midnight.
