I'm A Walking Time Bomb

     I woke up to my alarm going off, and I reached over and grabbed my phone, turning it off. After a minute I sat up and Aaron's arm slipped off my waist. I turned my head to him before getting up and grabbing some sweat pants and a hoodie before going to the bathroom.

    I brushed my teeth and quickly slipped my clothes on before grabbing my phone and going downstairs. When I made my way to the door, I waved at Corey who was making breakfast and jogged over to my car that had been shipped out here with all of my belongings.

    I drove over to Justin's new apartment and picked him up, before driving to the hospital. Everything was quick and I was lying in my chair, getting Chemo while looking around at everybody. The doctor hastily came in and called for Justin to come talk to him.

    That made me super nervous... But I just decided to ignore it and lean my head back and look up at the ceiling. Soon, I was going out to my car with Justin who seemed a little quiet. I just looked at him "alright, what is it?"

    "I was just waiting until we got out here, don't worry. Beverly, Mr.Walsh said you're getting better. Slowly, but surely." I just stared at my brother like he was crazy. "Are you sure that's what he said?" I asked. He chuckled while starting to walk around to me, hugging me tightly. "You're getting better, Beverly". I couldn't actually handle what he was saying to me, but I knew I had to realize it.

    Soon, I was back at the house and had dropped him off at home to get ready for work. I was setting on Aaron's chair at his desk, with my feet under me. I was listening to music and had my headphones on while I typed part of my book. I had just finished Chapter 34 when I felt arms wrap around my waist and a kiss on my head. I pulled my headphones off and looked up to see Aaron.

    "How was the doctors?" he asked while kissing my forehead again and standing up straight to stretch. "It was good actually. Justin said Doctor Walsh said I was slowly getting ready. Slowly though" I said shyly. He smiled and leaned down in front of me, grabbing the chair and pulling me in front of him as he sat on the bed.

    "That's amazing, Beverly. But, does that mean you still want to get married?" he asked, and I could see a slight sadness on his face. "Aweee" I chuckled out and wrapped my arms around his neck "Of course I still do, Aaron." I said. "Even if you end up 100% better?" he whispered into my hair.

      I nodded "Even if I get 100 percent better" I whispered back. He pulled back and gave me a smile. I smiled back at him, but he leaned down and gave me a kiss on the lips. I returned the kiss and wrapped my arms around his neck.
