Y/N slowly opens his eyes, the sun's rays passing through the many branches of trees above him. He attempts to move his right arm, only to feel something heavy laying on it.

I turned my head to the side to see Silica, laying on my arm, and her right hand on my chest.
Was she... Sleeping with me he entire night, she did.. she even pulled a cover over us.
Y/N slowly pulls away from Silica, as he gets up, he prepares breakfast for her. It didn't take long for Silica to awake from sleep.
Silica "What's going on?".
"Made you something, I'm no Asuna when it comes to cooking... But it'll keep you full".
Silica "It looks delicious, i didn't know you even had a high cooking skill".
"Asuna has a high cooking skill, I'm medicore compared to what she makes...".
Silica began eating, she was delighted of Y/N's dish. As they finished eating, they were soon off to get the crystal.
It didn't take long for them to see a small mountain, with dungeon entrance in front. Silica wondered if there's an escape portal in it, but soon realized that it's a medium level dungeon.
"Your crystal is inside, stay here while I get it for you".
Silica "I wanna go with you, I'll be able to help!".
"No Silica, your staying here where it's safe".
Silica "I can fight, I'm not weak Y/N, I'm going with you!".
Y/N eyes widened with fear, he grabs Silica's arm with vigor and held it with force. He had a flashback of Ella, she ignored Y/N's pleas, and caused the guild to die, he couldn't let that happen again.
"Dammit Ella, I said stop!!".
Silica "Y/N...".
".... I.. I... Let's head inside ..".
Silica looked at Y/N, he snapped again. She must've triggered a memory about Ella, a bad one. Silica followed him inside the dungeon, Y/N took every precaution to make sure Silica would be safe.
As the went further inside the dungeon, Y/N stops, and apologizes to Silica about what happened.
"I'm sorry, it's just that... It brought a painful memory is all".
Silica "Ella right?".
"Yeah, you acted like her... She insisted she'll help, even in her health.. it was a mistake to bring her".
"I don't want to lose you, I'm just scared to get you killed.. like everyone else".
"Let's get your crystal, and get out, getting Pina back is the thing that matters to you".
Silica finally began to see Y/N more than just a friend, just slightly...... he's simply a boy in pain, scared of getting people hurt, who lost his sister, who lost his guild, who lost a village, and who lost a little girl.
Silica "Y/N I...".

An arrow hits the wall, skeleton archers began spawning and attacking the duo.
