Without wasting a second, he walked past me, slightly tugging down his black beanie, and outside into the now smaller drizzle of rain.

I ignored the man that had brushed past me and continued to shop for gummy candy. I think they're called 'Peach Circles'?

I smiled when my eyes and hand caught the orange and yellow colored candy and checked out.

I thought back to that man.

'There's so much I don't know about him, yet thinking about him makes me feel all giddy.' I thought to myself with a small smile.

But,

What if he's trouble?
What if he's part of that gang?
What if he doesn't actually act nice?

But the one that scared me the most is,

What if he's the reason behind everything?

It was only a few minutes until he came back, breaking me out of my thoughts of him.

"It's done.." He said in a shaky whisper. If I wasn't listening carefully enough, I would've missed what he said.

Minutes seemed to pass as seconds as we didn't speak a word to one another.

"I never got to ask for your name," I said to him, trying to break the awkward ice surrounding us.

"Oh., sorry about that., it's Suga." He said with a slight half-smile as his eyes found the way to the floor while gently scratching the nape of his neck where there seemed to be slight scratches. "And yours..?" He said, his hand still on his neck while his eyes traveled up to meet mine, the smile still lingering on his naturally pale face.

"Kim Jaelyn.." I replied, scanning his features and minor injuries.

"Jaelyn.," My name rolls off of his tongue easily as he sighed out. "What a beautiful name."

"It's actually a quite common name, no need for the flattery," I mumbled awkwardly, making sure to keep my attention on the ground.

"Well, you're the only one who can pull it off." He said softly as if he were embarrassed to say.

"Thank you.." I replied as I felt the awkward atmosphere tighten around us.

"Hey, Jaelyn, it's getting pretty late," Suga said as he looked outside the shop's windows. "Want me to take you home?" He asked me with a small gleam of hope in his thin almond eyes.

" Ha, I guess it wouldn't hurt. You seem like a very nice man, why not?" I said to him with very noticeable sarcasm along with a small laugh.

The feeling kept tugging on me as if in fact we have had met before. Maybe from school? Or possibly bumping into each other on the streets?

"Please?" He asked me. He isn't going to give up easily, is he?

"Fine, but only to that park," I said, pointing to the direction of the nearest park. "then you're walking back to your place."

"Well," he smirked cutely "we better be on our way now."
