Hours had passed until 4:00pm arrived. Of course, the plan wasn't to take action until 10:00pm. But the time meant something for Oswald.

While the others were talking, he quietly sneaked out the door and climbed a fleet of stairs before finally arriving in the old subway. He then hobbled up more stairs until he finally breathed in Gotham's air.

Oswald looked around the city, some people may say it looked disgusting and dangerous, but, hey, it was home. He kept his head low so nobody would recognize him, beads of sweat dripping down his forehead. He could see everyone had their eyes on the white limo that strolled down the street. Bruce Wayne. That bratty, orphan kid- though, Oswald shouldn't be talking.

 He swept past people, stopping at a flower shop and buying lilies, making sure to... Exterminate the florest, for he had recognized Oswald. Oswald arrived at the Gotham cemetery and hummed a quiet tune as he stopped in front of a grave. It read:

'Gertrude Kapelput'

'Loving mother, daughter and wife'

Beside that was:

'Elijia Van Dahl'

'Loving father, son and husband'

Oswald sighed and smiled as he placed the flowers on top of the dirt, he took a deep breath before speaking,

"Hello, mother and father. It's me, Oswald... I'm, uh... Sorry for not coming back yesterday, things got a bit heated up with Ed," he chuckled. "But no need to worry! Everything is okay now. And everything will be fine when we freeze or kill Batman." There was silence, like Oswald expected an answer.

"I know, that killing Gotham's only vigilante is a bad idea! But... Maybe we just need a better mayor," he smirked and raised an eyebrow. "Okay you're right, I've had my fun as mayor" he tapped his fingers on his chin. "But enough about Batman, I came here to talk about something... Or rather someone." He smiled.

"Though, you probably already guessed it was Ed. I... I need to confess something, and I want to tell him but he hates me... Unlike me, who just puts up at act to hide my feelings," Oswald's face went a bit red. "I still love him... Even after everything. H-He's just... I don't know... But when I had him in that ice, I would admire him when everyone left. I would just stared at him... Into his beautiful, deep brown eyes... And his emerald suit... And his soft brown hair... And..." Oswald trailed off, he snapped himself back into reality and blinked.

"Sorry about that, I got a bit carried away," He mumbled. "But the point is, I don't know if I should tell him or not... I mean, it could ruin my reputation as an evil villain, and make our already broken relationship even worse... But it would feel good to confess. Maybe tonight! Maybe tonight, while we're alone at the museum, I could!" He stood straight and lit up. "It's perfect! Thank you mother, and thank you father!"

Oswald turned on his heel and hurried away, as happy as he could be.

~~~
Oswald arrived back at the lair, and was greeted by weapons that he easily slipped past. As he walked in, everyone raised their weapons.
Freeze unexpectedly fired his ice gun, sending a ray of frozen water towards Oswald. Oswald moved out of the way, but because of his leg, he stumbled and fell.
"Watch it!" He snapped and glared at Freeze. Freeze lowered the gun, but didn't bother apologizing. Oswald stood up and saw that the others had lowered their weapons, well, except for- guess who- Ed. Oswald wobbled over the table and saw a map of the museum laid out on it. He also noticed the absence of Selina and Joker
"Where's Joker and Ms. Kyle?" Oswald raised an eyebrow.
"Oh, they're at the museum, undercover right now, trying to find the best hiding spots for tonight" Ed answered. Ivy glared at Ed.
"What?" Ed cocked his head to the side.
"You can lower the gun, Nygma."
"And why should I?"
"Because the wall won't be the only thing frozen if you don't." Freeze answered. Ed immediately put the gun away, grumbling some things under his breath.
Oswald couldn't help but stare at Ed, Ivy, of course, noticed this but didn't comment on it. She already knew, anyways.
"Now all we need is Firefly and your family of freaks can be complete." Ed scoffed. The other three just smiled, because to them that had not effected them one bit. Ed frowned and sat down.
"Okay, so, Oswald." He looked at the penguin. "You and I will go here-" he pointed to an exhibit which read: 'Ancient Egypt'.
"Ooh, ancient Egypt. I think the mummies might be too scary for little Eddie, though" Oswald interrupted, receiving a chuckle from Ivy and a smirk from Freeze.
"Shut up, Oswald!" Ed hissed. "You're such a child. Anyways-" he clearly his throat. "When Batman comes, we will make our way to here-" he pointed to a circle on the map which was probably a pillar. "Then when Cat gives us the signal, we'll go out here-" he pointed to the wall where a window was most likely placed.
"Wait! The window? Isn't the ledge like, 3 inches from the building?" Oswald, yet again, interrupted.
"What, are you scared?" Ed smirked. Oswald went bright red and crossed his arms.
"No! J-Just get on with the plan!" Oswald said harshly.
"Alright," Ed continued glaring at Oswald, releasing all his anger in his gaze. "Then we will climb over to here-" he directed his finger to the edge of the building, near the road. "And Ivy will make us an escape with her weird magical plant powers. The others will do whatever they do and then escape here-" he pointed to one of the exits.
"Alright," Oswald nodded. "But you need to swear on Kristen's grave that you won't kill me"
Ed twitched and glared down at Oswald. How dare he have the nerve do even mention her, let alone make him promise to not kill him!
"Fine..." He growled.
"Say it."
Ed clenched his jaw together.
"I swear on Kristen's grave, that I will not kill Oswald Cobblepot." He said bitterly. Oswald smiled smugly and sat down, crossing his legs.
"Well, friends." He said. "Get ready, because we're going to catch ourselves a bat."
