The time everyone was excited for had finally arrived, it was time to kill Batman! Of course, some people weren't that happy about it.

"I still can't believe I have to work with him!" Ed hissed, glaring at Oswald.

"Oh, Edward, get over it" Oswald rolled his eyes.

"Yeah, what is it with you two, anyways?" Catwoman asked, purring as she pet a black cat in her hands.

"We've done many things to each other, but it all started because of one girl." Oswald said, smiling innocently.

"A girl?" Joker laughed.

"Her name was Isabelle." Oswald said again. Ed then slapped the Penguin across the face.

"IT WAS ISABELLA! NOW SHUT UP ABOUT HER!" He screamed.

Oswald staggered back, he cupped a hand over where he had been slapped. Ow... He winced in pain and glared at Ed.

The room went silent.

Oswald let out a growl and turned.

"Let's just go" he grumbled. Ed smirked, proud of himself for finally getting Oswald to shut up. Though, he was still a bit angry at Oswald for mentioning Isabella. He grabbed his question mark cane and looked to the others, who just avoided his triumphant look.

Oswald grabbed his umbrella cane and limped out, Joker followed behind, then Ivy, Cat, Freeze and then finally Ed.

They arrived at the old Gotham museum, Joker, Oswald, Ed and Cat all headed inside. They split up - Ed and Oz going towards the ancient Egypt exhibit, and Joker and Cat going to the main lobby. As Penguin and Riddler walked down the hall there was dead silence. Awkward.

Oswald opened his mouth to say something but Ed shot him a look before he could.

"Don't even speak" he growled. Oswald closed his mouth and looked away from him. Yet again, there was the sound of silence except for the footsteps of the two men.

"Edward, this is ridiculous, why can't we just set our differences aside for once?"

"You want to know why we can't, Oswald? Because I hate you. And I always hate you! I will never forgive you for what you did."

"It's been nine years, Ed, why do you still care about her?" Oswald replied bitterly.

"Because she was the only one who accepted me, Oswald! She's the only one who answered my riddles without letting out an annoyed sigh and ignoring me! She's the only one who never thought I was a psychopath!" Ed hissed.

Oswald stood straight, confidence and anger in his eyes as he glared at Ed.

"I accepted you, Ed. I answered your riddles, even though they were a bit annoying. I never thought of you as a psychopath. You want to know why? Because my affection for you was more real than your love for her"

Ed was really taken aback by that. Wow, he thought. But the thing is, Ed knew it was true. Oswald had always really been fond of Ed's riddles while he was mayor, and he did accept Ed and help him after being sent to Arkham.

But that was all in the past.

"Oswald," he said gruffly. "I loved Isabella more than I would ever love you." He turned away from Oswald and walked forward. Oswald swallowed back tears and hobbled after Ed. Ouch.

"What costs nothing but is worth everything, weighs nothing, but can last a lifetime, that one person can't own, but two or more can share?"

Edward looked at Oswald over his shoulder, with a slightly confused look.
