Precious Memories (GRAYZA)

Ch-20

Third person ...

Through the whole story ... Erza did not stop shedding tears  ... She never thought that her past was so precious as well as tragic for her ... But now the past is just a history for her which she will never forget . There was many ups and downs but a memory which she had shared with everyone is more precious than having no memory at all  , she do not hold grudge against any one ... Well life is all about forgiveness . 

She cried her heart out .... She always felt like a bird in a cage when she had no memories with full of doubts and unanswered questions but now she is like a free bird with every doubts left behind the cage . And most of all she isn't alone now .... Gray was right there for her holding her close .... Right where she want him to be and where she wanted to be in his arms ....

"Gray .... I'm sorry .... Please don't leave me please never leave me again " Erza said between her snobs

"No never !! I will never leave you nor will I ever let you leave me again .... I let you leave me ones and that was the worst mistake of my life " gray said holding her tight but gently .

"I love you Erza ... You don't know what I felt that time when I heard that you are dead ... My whole world crash .... I ... I ... Was so hurt , I thought that I have lost you forever " gray said in-between his snobs and kissed her forehead .

Erza was feeling well after his sudden break down . Gray was right by her side comforting her . But too be honest  Erza happiness was nothing compares to gray happiness because he  was very happy to see her alive and breathing ... He nearly lost hope one time , but his heart never fail to remind him everyday about her and build up a hope inside of him ... Telling sometime it's good to hold on .

And now she is here right in his arms where she should be .

There was a knock following by familiar faces entering the room one by one  ... Lucy , Mira , Natsu , levy , gajeel, laxus .. and lastly Jellal, all with bright smiles ... And hopes for the couples in front of him but there was guilt inside of them too ... For hiding sudden truth .

"Erza" Mira was the first one to speak from the group .

"We are very sorry for hiding the truth " Mira said with guilt filling in her eyes ...

Erza was silent nodding them that she is listening and telling them to continue .

" When  We heard the news that you were death .... we broke down *paused* we were hurt and trust me we all missed you every single day  .... we even tried to contact gray ... But one day he just  suddenly disappeared and cut off all the communication with us . After 3 years we girls shifted to a different place , after our boys here got transferred *pointing to Laxus , gajeel , Natsu * we thought that there is nothing left for us in that town ... As there was only bad memories there .  So we all decided to move . But after a year , when Me and Lucy was out on shopping ... We saw bright scarlet hair sitting in  a wheelchair , we thought that it was someone else  but when we hear your voice and giggle ... There was no doubt that it was you . We ran to you and hug you .... But you just stare at us like we were complete stranger ... You asked us 'who are you ' .. from there our whole world came crumbling down . . . And when we mentioned you about gray , you started screaming ... Crying begging to end the pain in your head and you passed out .  Than Jellal came rushing to you and took you to the hospital .. *snob snob* doctor said that since you just woke up from the coma ... It is not the right time to tell you about the past . We asked Jellal about how you ended up there when someone told us that you were dead . He told us  the whole story of how his dad helped him to bring you to US and that you lost all your memories . So we also decided that it was not the right time to tell you ... As well as we don't know where gray is , that is why we agreed to Jellal , that you will be under his care for the time being . Until the right time will come ... To tell you the truth and Jellal here promised to tell you everything when you are ready . I know what we did is unforgiving ... But we are sorry !!! I'm sorry " Mira cried .. Laxus hug her , holding her close , calming her down . Jellal head was down in shame and guilt ... He didn't know what to say . He promised that one day when the right time will come he himself will tell her the truth ... How can he be so selfish ... Keeping her away from the truth , believing that if he take her somewhere far away .. she will never find out the truth and she will be forever his .

"I'm sorry too " Jellal murmured he couldn't look in her eyes nor Gray's.

Silence *****

Erza was shock to hear their confession ... She was trying to take in all the information  . She was happy that her friends did all this for her ... For her safety but sad that they are blaming themselves. She tried to speak but gray got in first .

"Everyone thank you for taking care of my precious here " Gray said looking at Erza  "and sorry ... If I didn't disappear and kept in contact with you ... You wouldn't have to make such difficult choices ... So please don't blame yourself and thank you again " gray said and smile and got up and hug Jellal "specially thank you so much Jellal ... You did the most difficult job , thank you ....... Without you she wouldn't be here " gray said ... Jellal eyes widened tears started to fall from his eyes ... "Why are you thanking me I'm the worst ... I took her away !!! You should hate me !!! I even thought about taking her far away ... Away from pain , all to keep her to myself " Jellal confessed in-between his snobs . Gray just kept on Hugging him " I don't hate you .... If I were in your place I would have done the same thing . But most of all you did the brave thing giving Erza her memories back through that book ... Thank you ... " Gray said ... Jellal just broke down crying . And hug gray back . He cried so much . The room was lighter ... Everyone was at ease now , free from their guilt. Erza smile at everyone and open her arms  telling them to come for a big hug . They took turns in hugging her   . Smiling hugging each other  .

Erza look at Jellal and gray in the corner ... Smiling and talking to each other . A ghost of smile appear on her face watching them laughing and talking to each other like they are the best buddies... Who said that rivals can't be friends? . Gray noticed that Erza was looking at them and smile back ... And gave a light push on Jellal's  back ...
"Erza don't you think you forgot to give a hug to someone ?" Gray asked and tease Jellal ... Who was now red as tomato .

"Haha ..  I didn't , I thought to give you two some space for bromance " Erza teased both of them .

"We are not!!!" They yelled in unison , the room was filled with laughter   , looking at both of there reaction .

"Come here Jellal . Won't you give your best friend a welcome hug " Erza asked opening her arms  ... Jellal ran into her hug and cried like a baby , Erza just giggle . And the other people just smile at the scene playing Infront of them .

"Welcome *snob* back Erza *snob * "Erza just buried Jellal in her arms and let him cry on her . He did suffer a lot only for her . No force on earth can take that moment away from them .

Jellal knew he fought a losing battle but it was worth it ...

In the end he did not lost like a loser but gain something else much more than winning.

Somewhere.....

"Please wait a little longer ..  please " ??? Said ... "Everything is coming to an end my dear " ????Said .
