Chapter four

All the group had ponied-up throughout their practise. The turtles turned their stares towards the girls, their jaws dropping in amazement. Rainbow Dash laughed as they finished their performance and called out:"Shut your mouths, guys, or you'll catch a fly or two!" The turtles shu their mouths immediately and blushed, before congratulating the girls.

Raph rushed over to Fluttershy and Applejack, who were tuning Applejacks bass again, making sure it was right. "Guys, that was awesome!" He exclaimed, letting his Tough Guys act down momentarily. "Gee, thanks Raph. Ah'm glad ya liked it." Applejack blushed. Fluttershy giggled and nudged her. AJ rolled her eyes but slowly put her bass down. She moved her face mere inches away from Raph's, which was now burning redder then his mask. "Hey, Raph, I broke up with ma girlfriend earlier on tonight, so do ya wanna go ta Pinkies party tagether?" She asked, blushing slightly. Raph rubbed the back of his neck nervously, before nodding slowly. "Yeah, I'd like that." He finally answered; AJ swung her arms round him. "Thanks, Raph. Ya know, since Rarity wouldn't be there with meh, I guess I would kinda feel a bit intimidated. She has changed meh, a lot since Ah met her." She said as she finally pulled. Raph blushed even more, and nodded. AJ smiled and went back to tuning her bass with Fluttershy again.

Raph wondered slowly over to Leo and Donnie. Leo smirked and Donnie tried to stifle a laugh - they must have heard his one-sided conversation with Applejack. "So, you going with Applejack? I'm proud of you, bro. I'm gonna ask Flutters later, when AJs not there." Leo said, smiling broadly. Raph blushed again, causing Donnie to laugh. "I saw you had a thing for her the minute you saw her - it was kinda obvious." Raph glared at him evilly.

Rainbow and Twilight were choosing what other songs to sing, mostly Rainbows choice. She was still intent to copy Twilight, simply just for the fun of it, so she spent most the time with her. "I really wanna sing Awesome As I Wanna Be!" Rainbow complained. "Look, Rainbow, how about you see how long Pinkies party lasts so you can sing a solo?" Suggested Twilight, getting rather irritated. Rainbow jumped up, grinning widely before going off in search if Pinkie, who was being praised down to the ground by Mikey.

Applejack walked slowly over to Twilight and whispered in her ear:"Ya should ask Donnie ta the dance. Flash is inta Gloriosa Daisy now." Twilight looked up at her in surprise. "He-he is?" She asked, tears spilling slowly down her face. AJ nodded and rubbed her back as Twilight wiped her face with her pajama top sleeve. Twilight nodded and began to walk over to Donnie as Rainbow returned jumping like Pinkie Pie. "Guess what, AJ?" She exclaimed. "Ah'm scared ta." Applejack chuckled. Rainbow rolled her eyes and screamed:"Pinkie says there is enough time for us each to have a solo! I'm gonna sing Awesome As I Wanna Be!" Applejack smiled and said:"I'm gonna sing an actual song, like Sad Song." "But that's a sad song!" "No kiddin'!" Applejack laughed. Rainbow rolled her eyes and said:"You practise, I'll tell the others." AJ nodded and walked up to the stage, grabbing her bass off of Fluttershy as she passed her.

She put her bass down and the room erupted in applause. Applejack blushed and hid her face beneath her hat, a nervous habit. She walked off and fell backwards as Pinkie Pie tackled her into a hug. Rainbow managed to pull her off and AJ up, only to gently punch her arm and said:"That was pretty great, but now its my turn." Applejack rolled her eyes and smiled, taking a seat upon one of the tables. She caught Raph's eye and patted the space next her. Raph, who was in total awe of Applejacks amazing voice, blushed as he obliged. AJ smiled and rested her head upon his shoulder, making her turn redder. Leo smirked but Fluttershy, realising he was teasing Raph, jumped up and kissed his cheek. Now it was Raph's turn to smirk and Leos turn to blush.

Suddenly, Dash began to play:

Applejack wolf-whistled for her friend and stood up and clapped, pretty soon, everyone in the room was too. Next up were Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie.
