Chapter ten

Guests crowded round the locked door of the Town Hall, yelling and banging, some chatting and waving to friends, some singing and dancing.

Pinkie and her sisters were already inside, about to throw open the door. Others that were also inside included Vinyl Scratch, Big Mac, Mr and Mrs Cake, Mr and Mrs Pie, and Mikey. Everyone else was anywhere they needed to be - still preparing, on their way, or waiting outside.

"Right, so before I let everyone in, is everyone in their places? Is everything set? Has Marble got the checklist I requested?" Marble shyly came over and quickly passed Pinkie the checklist before hiding behind Limestone. Pinkies eyes scanned it rather quickly before she clapped her hands and shouted:"Right! Big Mac goes behind the drink tables, Vinyl is the DJ so go in the left corner where Big Mac put you stuff, Mikey stay with me, family go anywhere, and finally, Mr and Mrs Cake, can you please go behind the food tables. Also, any wrong behaviour at you department, then you guys can ask them to leave at any point and give them a time penalty off. You all know how I like to be in time sooo........ MIKEY THROW OPEN THOSE DOORS!"

Mikey races over, the only image in his head was his girlfriend looking beautiful and happy, and literally threw open the doors, allowing everyone to race in. The first song on Vinyls DJ kit-thingie was Little Do You Know by Alex and Sierra.

Applejack and Applebloom left Sweet Apple Acres together and got into the Apple Family Truck. AJ was messing around with the gears and things, starting the vehicle up, whilst Applebloom was helping herself to AJs mint tub.

"Hey, Sugarcube, don't go chewin' that now, or else ya won't be able to get stuff with ya friends." Applebloom quickly placed the more mint chewing gum piece back in the tub as AJ rounded the corner and parked up in the Town Halls carpark, where it was incredibly hard to find a space to park.

Once she did, Applebloom raced out to meet her friends who were stood by the door with their big sisters. AJ smiled as she greeted them. Rarity was wary, but she was definitely passed this. AJ wasn't to sure if she was, but Rarity had the same group of friends, and was still one of her best friends, so she was going to make the effort even if in the slight chance, Rarity would not. Rainbow, however, was unaware of the uninvited tension, watching her adopted little sister Scootaloo skip inside with Applebloom and Sweetie Belle. "So, you guys wanna head in, or..." Rainbow asked. The girls nodded and laughed before turning around.

However, someone reached them first. He grabbed Applejacks shoulder and spun her round, his happy face not one that Applejack wanted to see. Nor were the four other face on either side of him. "Applejack!" He greeted happily. "Caramel." Applejack said in a rather retorting, gravely voice, obviously not happy with this. "We guys just thought that you look lovely tonight." "Thanks fer thinkin' that, Ah guess." She glanced st the two in his right - Trended Hoof and Thunderlane. Then the two on his left, Flash Sentry and Bulk Biceps. She groaned. Rarity out her hand of AJs shoulder, about to steer her away, but Bulk grabbed her arm. "Bulk! Let go of meh! I wan' ta go have fun with mah friends, please!" "Dance with me!" All the boys chorused. Applejack simply rolled her eyes and tugged her arm away; she, Rarity, and Rainbow Dash walked into the Town Hall, ignoring the lovestruck boys behind them.

Raph sat beside Casey in the Party Wagon with Leo, Karai, and Shinigami behind them all squished up together. Casey started the van and drove off towards the town hall with the Mighty Mutanimals behind them with April driving the Shell Raiser.

Raph stared out the window - all he could do was think was AJ. Casey was doing the same. However, he knew he had to pretend to like Rainbow Dash, otherwise things wouldn't work.
