Chapter nine

Suddenly, as Soarin pulled away from Fluttershys house and began his journey to Sweet Apple Acres, Applejack received a voice mail off Mikey. She played it to her and Rainbow Dash who sat in the back of Soarin sports car. He wasn't really listening cause he had some weird rock music on which AJ despised. It was from when Rarity and Pinkie Pie had had the arguments on the sun loungers at Pinkies house. Upon listening to it three, maybe even four, times, AJ felt tears prickle in the corners of her eyes. But she wasn't about to let it show. She sucked it all up and plastered a fake smile on her face and gave a weak laugh. "Honestly, RD, Rarity thinks she owns me!" Rainbow grinned,  believing in AJs acting.

Just then, Soarin had parked at Sweet Apple Acres. "Later, AJ." Rainbow called as she jumped into the front. "See you later at the party, beauts." Soarin smirked as he drive down to road, only to earn a punch in the arm from Rainbow Dash. Truth be told, Applejack was well aware of Soarins crush on her. He didn't really try to hide it that much, anyway. But she was also aware of everyone's crush on her even if they did hide it. She had learnt to read faces, actions, almost like mind-reading. However, Hamato Raphael's mind was one she could not enter, not on because she refused, but he did too.

Apple Bloom's Crusaders Club had finished by the time AJ returned, so she and Sweetie Belle were watching YouTube on Apple Blooms iPad in the living room. AJ chuckled and began to walk into the kitchen before calling back:"Tell meh if theres anyone at the door and don't answer it ya selves!" 'Kk, Big Sis." Apple Bloom yelled back. Applejack put the kettle on and reread her conversation with Raph. Looks like she was hosting for six today. She put out seven mugs and placed an apple teabag in each. Just as the kettle finished boiling and Applejack had poured hot water into the first mug as Apple Bloom yelled:"AJ! Ya guests are here!" AJ rubbed her hands together and dashed through the living room into the pantry, where the door lay on it's Southwards wall.

As she opened, she found it not only revealed Raph and Casey, but Raph's brothers as well. Applejack smiled and stood back with her hand out as a gesture to let them in. Mikey, Donnie, Leo, and Casey all went in first, either shaking AJs hand (in Leo or Donnie's case), or giving her a fistbumb (like Mikey and Casey). Either way, they all said "thanks".

Remaining outside was Raph. AJ smiled and was about to speak before Raph cut her off. " I just wanted to say thanks for all this AJ, we're all pretty tired." The pair chuckled as Applejack reached for Raph's hand and gently dragged him in. She found the others on the landing upstairs, obviously being given directions by Apple Bloom.

"Cool, so... Where can we sleep?" Said Mikey straightforwardly. Donnie elbowed him. "Oww! What was that for, D?" He groaned in annoyance. "For being rude." Donnie retorted. Mikey rolled his eyes. AJ laughed. "Nah, its ok. So, er... Well Sweetie Belle should be gettin' picked up by Rarity in a few, so once shes gone two can sleep downstairs-" "What about your sister?" Mikey asked. "Shes going to her friend Diamond Tiara's house after this, my brother is taking her. He's working out in the fields right now - Ah'd usually be doin' that but obviously if things are goin' on then nah." "Ok, cool. Dibs on the living room!" AJ laughed as Mikey randomly exclaimed that. "I'll go with." Said Donnie. "Cool, so, er... That's settled, but then someone can sleep in mah room, mah sisters and mah brothers. Ah'll stay in my grannies." The guys nodded. "I'm in the brothers!" Casey yelled. "I don't mind," said Leo. "Hey, AJ, can I sleep in your room?" Raph whispered just so AJ could hear. AJ smiled and nodded before turning to Leo. Leo, however, had already guessed his position in Apple Blooms room, but he honestly didn't care. AJ pointed him down the hall, knowing that he knew too.

As soon as everyone was in their rooms, she went downstairs to finish the Cups Of Tea. She poured in the hot water into the rest of the cups and concluded her activity when she had put all on a tray. She carefully carried them all upstairs and handed them to each person before climbing into Granny Smith's bed with her own Cup Of Tea on Granny's bedside table.
