I drive past the sign that says Exit 34. I turn into the entrance of the Paris International Airport. I park my car in the parking lot where my mom will pick it up. Then I walk into the airport elevator. I pull out my phone my phone and make sure that I had said bye to everyone in my contacts. When I realized I did, the elevator was on my floor. I walked across the busy airport entrance road, looking at kids saying bye to there mothers who are going on a business trip. I saw wives saying hi to their husbands coming home from the military, crying tears of joy on their shoulders. I walked in the electric doors and walk straight to the check-in desk.
"Hello, I am Marinette Dupin-Cheng, and I am flying to Sydney, Australia," I say getting out my ticket. The lady, without saying a word, clicked the keys on her computer and scanned my ticket.
"Okay, you are all set! You depart at 8:30 pm," She says handing me my ticket.
"Thank you so much," I say with a smile. I make my way to the security gate. As I walk, I take a glance at the large wall clock. 7:40. I have 50 minutes. I can make it. I walk to the gate ,and to my surprise, the line is short. I get through security and I look at my ticket. A11 Wow! All the way across the airport!
~Time Skip to 8:15~
I finally get to my gate and I see.... 7 familiar faces. Nathaniel, Juleka, Alya, Nino, Chloe, Adrien, and my mom. I drop everything throw myself in a group hug. I start crying.
"Wow you guys this is amazing," I say "but I thought you all were busy?"
"Well I set this up and Me and Nino's excuse was a cover up," Alya said.
"I finished all the scenes for my movie early for this," Chloe says.
"I told my dad I had something to do'school'related to do," Adrien says.
"Your dad is taking over the bakery so that I can be here," mom says." I wouldn't miss this for the world."
"Wow! This is the best surprise ever!" I say.
"There's one more surprise. Me and Juleka were all ready going to come today because...," he says. Juleka pulls out two suitcases and he pulls out two boxes from behide his back. "we're coming too! Surprise!" says Nathaniel.
~Time Skip~
"Sydney, Australia, now landing." The flight attendant says over the speaker in the plane.
