"Juleka's P.O.V"
"Ok, everyone! We have little time to prepare because Adrien is only with her for dinner," I say holding a clipboard. We are in Marinette's dorm and we are going to set up her surprise 19th birthday. Adrien is leaving tomorrow so today is the only day to do this.
"Ok, Nathaniel, you and Devon are in charge of putting up streamers and the banner. Ashley, you Jazmyn and Auburn need to go pick up the cake and the food. Adrianna, you and I are in charge of setting up the tables and the DJ stand," I say checking everything off my list.
Everyone starts to get to work and it is coming together really well!
"Marinette's P.O.V"
Adrien and I leave my dorm just as my roommates are entering my dorm. They avoid eye contact though. It's a little weird but I brush it off. Adrien and I get to my car and I toss him my keys. He catches them, walks around the car and opens the door for me. He gets into the car and starts it. He turns on the seat warmers and sets the GPS.
"Setting route to Prime." the GPS lady says.
"Adrien! That is the most expensive steakhouse in Sydney! How did you get reservations?"
"I have my ways."
"Of course you do."
"Doesn't a knight get to spoil his princess on her birthday?" he says smirking.
We get to Prime and we both get the Truffle Special.
"Here you go Mr. and Mrs. Agreste," the waitress says. I blush at the title 'Mrs. Agreste'. I am guessing the waitress saw my blush and quickly apologizes for her mistake.
"It's ok! I don't mind." Adrien says looking at me. The waitress walks away. Then Adrien pulls something out of his pocket. I see it's two jewelry boxes, one longer than the other. Of course, I think he is about to propose.
"Adrien we are too young I-" I say before getting interrupted by one of his soft finger making contact with my lips.
"I am in love with you Marinette! You know it. But I know we're too young to get married but I have the next best thing." He says opening the smaller box. Inside is a gorgeous ring. It is gold with tiny diamonds.
"Adrien this is beautiful but.."
"It's a promise ring, I promise to be yours forever, I will never love anyone else besides you." My mouth is wide open, completely speechless.
Adrien's P.O.V
She doesn't say anything so I take out the next gift. I open it to reveal two keys; One a replica of Marinette's dorm key (a ladybug design), and one a replica of my key (the design of a certain black cat).
"This is a gift for both of us. The ladybug one is for me and the cat one is for you."
She is yet again speechless but she kisses me. At least I know she likes them she likes them.
"Marinette's P.O.V"
When we left I was still pretty hungry.
"Adrien?" I say hoping we are getting dessert or something.
"Yes, birthday princess?" he says looking at me with his piercing emerald green eyes.
"I-I uh are we getting any dessert," I say getting lost in the maze his eyes seem to be illuminating.
"No, but I have a better way to make you happy," says opening the door for me to the car. I let him drive so everything will be a surprise. He drives us back to the dorms but doesn't get out automatically. He takes out his phone and messages to someone. 'Once he gets a text back he gets out of the car, walks around, and opens his door for me. I get out a try not to trip with my heels on.
We take the elevator back up to my dorm. Adrien's right hand is intertwined with my left. He holds the elevator door for me as I carefully get through. He takes his new ladybug key and unlocks the door.
"SURPRISE!!!" everyone in the dorm room screams. I almost fall because I am in quick shock.
