Beach day

I woke up to someone shaking me. I opened my eyes and it was Kenzie. She looked horrible like something has happened.

"Omg Kenzie is everything okay?"I asked

"Uh not really"she said pacing back and forth

"Calm down and tell me what's wrong"I said grabbing her shoulders

"Its Brandon he asked me on a date"she said putting her hands on her face

"Is that a bad thing?"I said with a confused face

"Yes cause I don't know how I feel about this"she explained while breathing heavily

"Okay okay I'll talk to him"I said grabbing her phone

"Thanks jai your the best!" She said hugging me

"Shoot I gotta get dressed" I said picking out my clothes

"Why what's going on?"she asked while stopping me

"Gray and I are going to the beach with Zach wanna join us?" I said while packing my stuff

"Sure can I borrow a baiting suit?"she asked nervously

"Yeah just pick one out in my closet"I pointed out.

"Ok Kenzie are you ready?" I asked her

"Yeah let's go!"she said walking out my room

As soon as when met Grayson down stairs the doorbell rang so I opened it.

"Hey!"mark said

"Sorry mark but all four of us are heading out somewhere."I explained

"Where are y'all going?"he asked

"Somewhere to hangout"I said closing the door on his face

"Geeze why don't you like him"gray asked

"Cause I don't"I added

"Mhm okay lets go!"Kenzie said

We got in the uber and he drove us to the beach. We brought surf boards,food and all the essential items. We got out the uber and picked a nice spot to chill. The boys ran down to the ocean while me and Kenzie sun tan. We got up and Zach grabbed my hand while gray grabbed Kenzie's then they took us to the ocean. We were just splashing each other. Then I see mark from a distance come towards us. I asked Kenzie if she wanna go to the shops and that exactly what we did. We left Zach and gray alone in the ocean. We came back 20 mins later and we saw mark in the ocean with them.
I really wanted to get in the water so I decided to get back it. I grabbed my surf board and hit the waves.

"You surf?"mark asked

"Kind of..."I replied back

"Cool maybe I can surf with you?"he said

"Nah, Kenzie is surfing with me"I said walking past him.

I know I sounded mean but I don't want him to think I like him. People always assume the worst. I started regretting everything I have said to him. Like keeping my name from him trying to avoid him and my attitudes. I just dont want the same thing to happen just like it did in the Bahamas. I got off my bored and sat down on a towel just scrolling on Instagram.
I kept thinking about being his friend but idk yet. I guess it wouldn't hurt to be nice to him.

"Hey jai ready to go!"gray said packing his things up

"Uh...yeah let's go"I said grabbing my bag

(At home)

I took a shower a watched my friends vlog (Johnny Orlando) I looked outside and I see that mark is playing basketball. Gray fell asleep so I got my shoes on and went outside.

"Hey mind if I play"I asked

"Yeah sure!"he said passing me the ball

"Um my name is jaiden by the way"I told him while missing a shot

"Cool thanks for finally telling me"he said

"I'm sorry for not telling you and always having an attitude"I said missing another shot

"Its good but looks like you need some help there"he said catching the ball

"Yeah uh I guess"I said with confusion

He then put the ball in my hands went behind my grabbed my arms and angled it towards the hoop. He was basically hugging me in a weird way. He then pulled my arms back and pushed them forward for me to release and make a shot. I jumped up in the air and I gave him a high five.

"Wow not so bad"he said pushing back his hair

"Well I didn't do it by myself"I said smiling

"Okay...uh what's going on"gray said

"Nothing i was about to go inside"I explained

"Yeah okay..."he said taking the ball from me

I walked to the door and looked back. I looked at mark he smiled and I smiled back. I then went inside and did my daily routine.
