looking up at the sky,
the millions of glimmering beads
no longer sheath the endless void of darkness
that uplifts the oblivion that runs through my blood
they've disappeared underneath night's
blanket of shade,
shadowing the stars from perception's gaze
but love,
by simply looking into your eyes,
I see a universe encircling the heavens,
holding the dreams I hope
one day we could
share
together
