Someone Gets Detention

Ella's POV

"Umm, I don't know.." I said, but I was lying. I couldn't say anything about Lexie and Nick.
"Oh. Well, I hope he isn't." Abby said giggling.
"Haha. Yeah..." I said.
"Ready for homeroom?"
"Yeah. Sure." Abby replied. We had the same homeroom so we walked there together. All class period I was thinking about Lexie and Nick. If Abby finds out they're dating, who knows what she'll do? I don't really know her that well, but I don't think she'll try to ruin their relationship.. I don't think..?

Lexie's POV

Homeroom was great today. We had a sub and she didn't care what we did. So I just talked to Leo all class period.
"So.. Is it true? You and Nick are a thing?!" Leo asked.
"Yeah." I said smiling.
"Congrats! (Mumbles, dang it.)" Leo said.
"Haha. It's okay. You'll find someone special!" I said.
"Yeah, but that would be till foreverrrrrrrr." Leo complained.
"Depends, be happy. I learned it the difficult way.. I was always sad and depressed.. it felt like it took forever." I said.
Class ended and Leo and I walked to our second hours. But before I went to my second hour I went to Nick's homeroom to surprise him.

Nick's POV

"Ugh class is soooooo boring!" I thought to myself. Marshall was sitting behind me, (I know you're probably thinking how we're in the same class? Some homerooms have different grades then just one.) then Marshall kicked my chair. I turned around and gave him the look. He wasn't looking at me. But he acted like he didn't do anything, yet I knew it was him. I turned back around and actually tried to focus then he something hit the back of my head. I looked down and I saw a balled up piece of paper. I picked it up and unballed it and it said, "Turn around." I knew Marshall was gonna do something so I didn't turn around. He kept kicking my seat and I started to get annoyed so I turned around and flipped his desk. I quickly turned back around and then the teacher turned around and looked at both of us. She gave us the look saying, "See me after class!" Then she turned back around and continued talking. I turned around and smirked at Marshall.
Class ended and it felt like it took foreverrr. Like damn. So we tried to sneak out with everyone but the teacher yelled, "Nicholas and Marshall! Get your butts back over here!" She yelled. Then Marshall and I both walked backwards. "And.. so close.." Marshall said under his breath.
"What were you two up to today? You guys are never like this?" She asked.
"I don't know.. I've been feeling different lately." I lied.
"Feeling different or not doesn't matter. You guys are both in trouble. You both have detention this Friday, right after school. Come by after school to get your slip. Make sure to bring it back to me by Wednesday or you'll get a phone call home!" She yelled.
"Yes ma'am.." I said. She held us late so she wrote us both slips to second hour. As we turned around we both looked at each other and rolled our eyes.

Lexie's POV

When I walked to Nick's homeroom I made it just in time because everyone was leaving the classroom. I lean against a locker waiting for Nick to walk out so I can hug him. But everyone came out but Nick and Marshall? I looked left and right and didn't see them? Maybe they're still in class? So I decided to go to second hour and I'll see both of them there anyways. As I was walking to class, I checked my phone just encase to see if I got a text from Nick, but no text. So I walked to class alone. But then Ella ran up to me.
"LexieIThinkAbbyLikesNick!!!" She yelled.
"What? I can't understand you." I said confused. "Take a deep breath and say it again."
"Okay.. *takes deep breath* I think Abby likes Nick.." Ella said.
"W-what? W-why do you say that?" I stuttered.
"Well.. when you, Marshall, and Nick left earlier this morning.. she said he was cute and she asked if he had a boyfriend.." Ella admitted.
"What did you tell her?" I questioned.
"..... I told her no.." Ella confessed.
"WHAT?!" I yelled.
"Calm down.. I don't know if she was kidding or not or just saying it like you know." Ella said.
"Hah.. yeah? Hopefully.." I said walking into class.
"Yeah, hopefully she was kidding." Ella thought.
"Great someone who is gonna hate me now.. and I thought that all this drama was over.." I thought to myself.
We both walked to our second hours and when I got to mine no sign of either Marshall or Nick? I was confused and lonely so I sat there quietly but about five minuets after class started, Marshall and Nick both come through the door. I looked up from doing my work and saw Nick. He smirked at me and I started to blush.. This was a creative writing class, sort of like language arts but it's not so.. yeah. Any grace could take it. But back to the point. Nick and Marshall both walked over to their seats and we continued writing.
After class Marshall, Nick, and I were talking.
"So why were you guys late?" I asked.
"Ummm.. we kinda got detention Friday.." Marshall said rubbing his head.
"What?! Detention? What did you guys do?" I said shocked.
"I kinda flipped Marshall's desk over." Nick said.
"W-what? Why?" I questioned.
"He was throwing a paper ball at me and kicking my chair. So... I did that." Nick explained.
"Of course. Dumbo." I said giggling.
"Hey! I heard that!" Nick pouted.
"Hehe, I know." I said hugging him. He hugged back and I smiled.
We all went to our third hours and we walked in and saw Ella and Abby... Abby looked over and waved. Inside I freaked out and I could tell by Ella's face that she was nervous. I was too. We walked to our seats and class started..
