Lexie's POV

"I'M HOME!" A deep voice said.
"Oh no.. please no.." I said freaking out.
"What's wrong?" Nick asked.
"I-it's m-my dad.." I said.
"You're dad?" He questioned.
"Yes.. he's in the military and.." I got cut off and my dad came into my room. I squealed.
"LEXIE, I'M.. *pauses* Who's this?" My dad says.
"Umm, a friend! Yeah.." I said.
"Oh nice to meet you sir! What's your name?" He asked Nick.
"I'm Nick. N-nice to meet you." Nick replied. Then my mom walked in, "Hey Lexie! Your dad is gonna be staying with us for a whi.." She paused..
"WHAT IS HE DOING HERE?!" My mom yelled.
"Run!" I told Nick and he nodded and ran out my door.
"AND STAY OUT!" My mom yelled down the hall.
"Hun? What was that for?" My dad questioned. "Oh! Wait, Nick! The 5th grade kid from years ago! I like that guy! If he asked you out Lexie, I would totally approve!" My dad said.
"He made Lexie The Omega at school!" My mom said.
"What? The Omega? Hun, you know I don't know this werewolf stuff." My dad said.
"*Takes Drop breath* Yeah.. I know.. I'm going to make myself coffee. I'll be downstairs." My mom says she slammed the door and walked downstairs.
"Lexie, what's The Omega?" My dad asked.
"Well, before I say anything, Nick didn't make me Omega. The past Alpha Female did and Nick had no say of choosing me as Omega." I said.
"Okay, but what is The Omega?" My dad asked again.
"Oh, it's basically the weakest wolf.." I explained.
"Oh, how about I explain it to your mother?" He offered.
"Okay." I said. As my dad walked out of my room he said, "By the way, I'm staying for a few months!"
"Awesome." I yelled.

Nick's POV

I ran out of her house as fast as I could. Well, I know her mom doesn't like me still and that Lexie hasn't told her mom we were dating yet or her dad apparently.. I honestly forgot about her dad and apparently he isn't a werewolf? But he is probably gonna hate me if her mom tells her what she thinks I did to her and obviously I would never do that to her.
I walked back home, which took a long while, but I finally made it and as I walked into my house, I fell right into bed. I was tired after a long day. So now I can't blame Lexie for being tired now.

Lexie's POV

Well my dad took that more calmingly then I thought. I guess it isn't bad that he is staying now. I thought he would take that much worse, but I can't blame him since he isn't a werewolf. So I decided to text Nick.

(Bold Nick)

Hey, sorry about today.. I still haven't got a chance to explain to my mom that you weren't the one who made me Omega..

Hey, it's okay.

Thanks, my dad is explaining it to her though.

Oh, that's good. I honestly thought he would hate me.. XD

Haha, well he doesn't.

That's good.

Yeah, well I just wanted to say sorry and I need to get to bed.

Alright goodnight babe. I love you. <3

Goodnight babe. I love you too. <3

(End of conversation)

Well just having that conversation made me smile. I was about to fall asleep but then my dad knocked on my door.
"Hey Lexie, are you asleep?" He asked.
"Not yet." I said getting up.
"Can I come in?" He asked.
"Sure." I said. My dad walked in and said, "I talked to your mom about it. She didn't know that Nick didn't make you Omega and she is very sorry. But she's asleep now."
"Oh. Well, I'm glad she's okay with it. What would you say if Nick and I were dating..?"
"HAHAHAHAHA! For a second I thought you said you were dating Nick." My dad said laughing.
"Uhhh.. yeah.. I did." I said.
"Oh..? You're being serious. Well, if he break your heart I'll break his face." He said.
"Whoa. A little to violent there.." I said.
"Well, I would and what happened to your eye?" He asked.
"Oh nothing." I lied because if my dad or mom found out.. heh, they would kill him.. they wouldn't understand why he did that.
"Oh okay..? Well, I'm gonna let you get some sleep." My dad said walking out.
"Goodnight sweetie."
"Goodnight dad." I said laying back down.

(Time change next day)

I felt good today. Since my mom knew that Nick wasn't the one who made me Omega I think she'll like him again. So I got into something cute to wear, I decided to wear a blue shirt that says, "Laugh is Better When You're Laughing", with white skinny jeans. Then I put my shoes on and headed downstairs. I could smell something amazing. When I walked into the kitchen my dad was making his homemade waffles. He noticed I was in the kitchen and said, "Good morning Lexie. Did you have a good sleep?"
"Actually I did and oh my gosh! Are you making you're homemade waffles!" I asked.
"Of course! It's my first morning back so I decided to make something you haven't had in a longgg time." He said with a chuckle. I smiled and then my mom walked out of their room. "Lexie, I'm sooo sorry I didn't listen to you about being Omega.. I-I just jumped the conclusions.." She admitted.
"It's okay mom. I understand that." I said.
"Oh thank you sweetie! But I'm sorry I have to get going. I have a big meeting this morning so I gotta get going!" She said rushing to the door.
"Well, I'm glad that is taken care of ." My dad said.
"Hah, yeah." I said.
"Well, I guess it's a father daughter breakfast this morning!" My dad said handing me a plate of waffles.
"Aww! Thanks dad! It feels like the good old days." I said.
"It sure does." He said smiling.
We both finished and then I heard a knock at the door. I walked to the door and Nick was there. I was so surprised. I gave him a hug and he hugged back. Then my dad said, "Who's at the door?" I let go and and said, "Nick."
"Oh, hi Nick!" My dad said.
"Hello." Nick replied.
"Hey, I'll be right back, I gotta get my bag." I said running up stairs.

Nick's POV

I waited on the porch and then the door opened, hoping to see Lexie her dad came outside.
"Hey Nick." Her dad said.
"Hello, Mr.." I said.
"Just call me Mark." He said. I nodded.
"So Lexie told me you two were dating.." He said.
"Uh, yes sir." I said.
"Well.. I'm glad! I definitely approve! I remember the good old days." He said smiling.
"Haha, yeah, I do too. We had some good times." I said smiling.
"Well, thank you *he puts his hand on my shoulder* and I know you'll treat my daughter right and not do anything to upset her or break her heart." He said seriously.
"Haha, just joking! But seriously.." He said.
"Haha.. yeah. Definitely, I would never do anything to hurt her." I said.
"Now that's my boy!" He said.
Then Lexie opened the door. "Thank gosh." I said to myself.
"Hey Nick, sorry for the wait." She said rubbing the back of her head.
"It's fine. Ready to go?" I asked holding my hand out.
"Yeah." She said giggling grabbing my hand. Our hands locked together and her dad walked inside.
"How did you get here so early? Don't you live like 30 minutes away?" She questioned.
"I drove here." I replied.
"What?!" She said in shocked.
"How else? I mean I could of walked but that would of taken a while.." I said. I walked into their driveway and there was my car sitting there. I opened the passenger door and she got in then I closed it. I ran over to my side and got in.
"Nice car." She said. As I was backing out of the driveway.
"Thanks. My parents got it for me." I said.
"Oh cool. Do your parents even remember me? Or even know we're dating?" She asked.
"Ummm.. no.." I said.
"Really? You haven't told them we've been dating?" She said.
"It's not that I didn't tell them, it's just I haven't seen them in a while. I live on my own." I said.
"By yourself?" She questioned.
"Yeah, I live in a complex. I have a part-time job to keep up with the money and everything." I explained.
"Wow! I didn't know!" She said.
"Heh, you don't really know a lot about me do you?" I asked.
"Well, not really, I moved when we were young and I haven't seen or talked to you since this year and after the whole potion thing, I never really got to know you.." She said.
"Yeah.. I'm very sorry about that.." I said.
"It's okay! It wasn't your fault." She said.
"Yeah.. I know.. but how about this, after I get out of detention Friday, I take you out on a date?" I said smirking. She was blushing and said,
"Uhh, yeah! Sure. I'll like that."
"Okay. It's a date!" I said smiling.
