Sunday was a lazy day, spent drinking coffee and watching all of the Jurassic Parks. I spent all of it snuggled between the guys, enjoying their little touches and signs of affection. It was strange and completely new to me, but I opened it with welcoming arms. This was happiness to me, pure unadulterated bliss.
Monday morning rolled around with a chill in the air, practically sending Finch into a catatonic state. He loved everything fall and winter, specially since Halloween was coming up along with my birthday, he decided to take tonight and decorate the entire house. I bit my lip, trying to decide when to ask them to go house hunting with me.
"Hey Theo?" I had already gotten dressed in on of Theo's long sleeve t shirts, wanting the extra warmth it gave to me, and was sitting at the bar watching Theo make coffee.
"Yeah baby girl?" I felt blush creep up on my cheeks as dragons invaded my stomach, stomping around and swarming.
"I, uh, can we go house hunting tonight? I know Finch wants to start decorating but –"
"Willow, that's a perfect idea." I smiled slowly, glad he was willing to help, but kinda disappointed they wanted me gone so fast.
I didn't have time to linger on anything when the other two came down the stairs, Finch looking as put together as he usually did while Ronan had his grumpy face on. It seemed Ronan was grumpy towards everyone except for me and the guys, and every time he saw me and his face softened, it made me feel extra special.
I smiled and followed the guys out to their truck after we all drank a cup of coffee, and ate the banana Theo forced us to take. It was in the act when Theo brought up looking for a house, and it broke my heart at how fast Ronan and Finch agreed with him.
The rest of the morning went into a fog, and it wasn't until music that I seemingly found a way out of it. Mr. Lovette stood at the front with a huge grin on his face, dressed in a neon yellow sweater vest and a bright orange scarf. I raised an eyebrow, catching Ronan's eye. He just rolled his eyes and shook his head, causing me to giggle.
"Today, we're doing duets! But I want you to play an instrument you aren't completely familiar with, most of you know two of them but specialize in only one. You can either play vocal, or you can play classical. Do whatever your heart desires!"
I looked back over to Ronan who smiled at me, reaching his hand across my desk to grasp mine. He lifted it to press his lips against the back of it, my skin tingling and causing my heart to race.
"It'll he preformed at our Winter concert coming up, so you have a while. Get together and think about what you want to preform, then come and get it approved by me."
He dismissed us, the rest of the class standing. Ronan tugged me from my desk and brought me into a back practice room, set up with a piano and an acoustic guitar. I sat at one of the chairs in the corner only to be picked up and deposited onto Ronan's lap.
