Anakulos

Lysander clanged to the floor, the sound bouncing off the walls and through the cold corridor.

Leo stood with Annabeth- who had a crimson line across her neck from the sword -and Leo stared at me with wide eyes.

I sighed, "Let me guess, the hood's down?" Leo nodded. "Dammit!"

Seeing as it was only the three of us standing in the corridor, I left it down and began examining the door. I sent another arrow through it, and this time, the arrow sailed through the metal and I heard a soft gasp from behind it.

"Anakulos?" Aletheas voice called out and I shouted back to her,

"It's me! Don't worry, I'll get you out."

I gestured for Annabeth and Leo to help me out, pushing against the door looking for weak spots; to no avail. Leo slumped against the wall, muttering to himself furiously,

"Stupid. How could you not know it was him? Bad Leo! Bad!"

Whilst Annabeth paced in the small area she could. I, on the other hand, had thought of an idea that could end in either death, severe injuries, a comatose Klemenis, or my friends freedom.

"'Menis?" I asked and heard his gruff voice from the other side. "On the count of three, torch the door. Leo will do it from this side at the same time."

Leo shot up from his place on the floor at the mention of him actually being useful. "Alethea, at the same time, put a forcefield around you and the others...and I guess the demigods too."

My reluctantness to save the demigods earned me a glare from Annabeth and an uneasy glance from Leo.

I stood Leo infront of the door and got as far back as I needed to be. Annabeth got the memo and ran after me as I counted down.

"One!"

The heat level in the room increased dramatically and I couldn't imagine how hot it was on the other side, I just hoped that Alethea had gotten the forcefield up in time.

Just when I thought Leo would pass out from the effort, a small hole started forming in the centre of the door. But as I predicted, Leo slumped to the floor and the growth of the hole slowed, as Klemenis was now the only one creating it.

"Aren't you going to pull him out of the way?" Annabeth asked from besides me and I scoffed.

"Aren't you?"

We waited for what felt like hours but was only a few minutes before the hole in the door was sizable enough. I shouted at Klemenis to stop and the fire from the other side came to a halt.

I unclipped Aletheas shield, Zena, from my belt and called out for her to catch it. It flew throgh the hole, before the familiar sound of someone shrieking before it was heard.
