"Luke, seriously, chill, you're more nervous than me, it's okay." I giggled as we drove to the gynecology.
"I'm just really excited, we'll see our baby today for the first time ever, I know it will be just an ultrasound, but, like we'll see it, and we'll find out if it's a girl or a boy, you wanna know or you want it to be a secret?" He said excited.
"I would love it if it's a girl, but I'd also love a boy, it would be so amazing, can you imagine it? I'm talking too much, aren't I?" He laughed nervously looking at me, I had been looking at him all along, he was just so beautiful, little moments like this reminded me why I had completely fallen in love with him.
"Okay, and here it is..." The doctor said as we both turned to look at the screen.
"Do you want to know the sex or.." She asked, Luke looked at me and I smiled.
"Yes, we'd love to." I said as Luke held my hand.
"Okay, just a second, I'm going to print the photo first."
"I'm so happy." Luke mumbled in my ear.
"Yes, me too."
"Okay, so it's a girl." The doctor announced.
"Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Hemmings." She added smiling kindly at us.
"It's a girl." Luke repeated out breath.
"Yes, now we only have to meet her." I said smiling at him.
"I love you so much, y/n." He left a kiss on my forehead.
