Chapter 1

[Ty's POV]

"Oh Ty!" Maddie said in her singsongy voice. I plugged my headphones in as she rattled on about what to eat for dinner.

"So. I was thinking? about that new sushi place..."

I feel it in my bones...

"Ooh! Maybe that Italian place. What was it called again?"

Enough to make my system-

"TY ARE YOU EVEN LISTENING?!" she yanked my earphones our of my ears leaving my ear bright red. "YOU DESERVE THIS!" Maddie slapped me across the face.

"So, anyway," she continued, cheerily, "We're going to eat at that fast food joint down the street. Wouldn't that be fun?"

I grumbled in response as we headed to the car.

At the restraunt, she rattled on and on about her day and how hard it was to deal with me. I couldn't help but notice three boys in the table behind her. One wore a fuzzy mask with a tux and red tie and one wore a red and black checkered jacket with a tan undershirt paired with jeans. The last one wore obscuring sunglasses and a golden necklace with a purple gem in it with some space commander type suit. They were throwing French fries around and one flew towards Maddie's head.

"Oww!" she exclaimed and turned towards them, "WHAT THE HECK DO YOU THINK YOUR DOING?!

"Calm yourself, Maddie. It was an accident." I said nonchalantly.

"I CAN'T STAND THIS!" she stormed out of the room and she took off in the car.

"Wow..." the space commander guy said, "Sorry bro."

"Ehh." I shrugged it off. "She'll come apologizing in a few hours."

"Well." The red-checkered-guy said, "What's your name?"

"Ty."

Fluffy Tux told me "Cool name. I'm Jerome."

Red Checkered stood up with an outstretched hand. "Mitch." I shook his hand.

Space Commander waved. "Adam."

"Well, nice meeting you all but Maddie probably needs some pizza. Bye."

"Bye!"

"Bai dood!"

"Byee!"
