dating hinata is always full of energy and surprises at every corner.

your life is never dull with this orange boy around. he constantly jumps around excited whenever he sees you in school. he can't wait to share with you what happened during his weekend (he bought a cool skateboard that he had always wanted). he talks to you passionately and does a lot of animating hand gestures out of excitement. you smile and laugh every once in a while at his enthusiasm. you think his constant enthusiasm at life is what makes him so cute and lovable. whenever he catches you smiling at him for no reason as he talks, he always goes like "what?" and you just shake your head at him, causing his cheeks to flush.

after school, just the minute after the bell rings, hinata rushes to see you. you two meet at your locker everyday after school. he wants to bring you to the arcade. "it's a date," he says, grinning brightly. you shyly nod and let him take your hand. his hand feels soft around your wrist.

every time you two go to the arcade, hinata will always want to get a plush toy for you at the claw machine. you tell him it is no need but he refuses to listen. he wants to get one for you even it means wasting his one week savings. he stubbornly stays at the claw machine, not wanting to leave the place until he can get one for you. it is no use persuading him otherwise.

"i got it! i got it y/n! look!" he exclaims happily when he finally gets the plush toy you wanted. his face is genuinely so pure and innocent and that makes you hug him tightly, thanking him over and over. he immediately blushes as you two pull away from the hug.

"it's nothing, y/n. if it means to makes you happy, i would gladly get one for you over and over again. even if i have to use up all my savings," hinata says, holding a goofy smile on his face.

you shake your head at him, smiling. "you silly boy. don't waste your money like this on me."

"no. it's not called wasting if it's for you."

after arcade, both of you will hang around the park in the neighbourhood. you two sit on a bench, watching the sky turns into an orange sky as the sun sets. hinata brings a pack of orange coloured gummy bears to share. as he eats, you laugh at him and he asks why.

"look, you're eating a mini version of yourself," you tell him, holding up an orange gummy bear in the air.

"w-what??!" he exclaims. his face, turning a little pink, held a 'whoaaa that's so cool! i never thought of it' expression. you laugh at him again.

throughout the whole evening, both of you watch the sunset together in the park, holding hands. you tease him occasionally as he tells you stories about him and natsu when they were younger where they would play in the park till late evening and get scolded by their mum after that. at every passing moment, you can feel your heart warm and you feel loved. the orange sky reminds you of hinata's hair and you tell him that.

he gives you a warm smile and plants a kiss on your cheek before you both part ways for the day.

"see you tomorrow?"

"of course."
