CHAPTER 2
“So, where are we going?” The short guy with the big brown eyes asked me. God, those eyes.
“Ehm, fourth floor,” I said and starting walking towards the elevator. I heard them coming up behind me. As we got inside the elevator, one of the other boys pressed the button. He was tall and had blond hair. He smiled to me and I returned the smile carefully. He was absolutely adorable.
It was a short trip up to the fourth floor, thankfully, so there was no time for it to get awkward. I walked out of the elevator and found my door. I unlocked it and opened the door, to reveal I small, but nice looking apartment. It’s wasn’t big, but it was only for me anyway so it was just perfect. I walk in to the living room and saw that the four boys were following closely behind me. I had no idea what to say next.
“Thank you so much!” I manage to get out as I smiled to them.
“Don’t mention it!” the guy with the curly hair said. “Where do you want this?”.
“Ehm, just put it right there. I THINK I can take it from here.” I said back and smiled. They all let out a little laugh at my remark. No one ever laughed at my jokes back home.
“I sure hope so!” The short guy said. “I’m Adam by the way”. He reached out his hand and I took it.
“I’m Lucy.” He carefully shook my hand, before introducing me to the other boys. The curly haired one was Andy, the blond one was Ryan and the last really cute one was Joel. I shook their hand one by one and smiled politely.
“But you guys where on your way out, so I won’t hold you back any longer.” I said to them.
“Right, we should probably get going then I suppose. Don’t be a stranger!” Andy said jokingly and gave me a wide smile. I couldn’t help but laugh at his foolishness.
“I won’t. I promise!” I said. I thanked them all again, before they one by one walked out my door. I stood watching them wait for the elevator as they were goofing around and playfully hitting each other. It seemed like Andy was mainly bullying Adam about something, as Adam shouted out “Stop!” or “Shut up!” a few times. Boys, I thought to myself, with a smile on my face shaking my head. Suddenly I looked over at Ryan. He was staring at me. Not in a freaky way, but as if he was admiring me in a way. He snapped out of it as the elevator doors opened and gave me a wave before following the other boys. I saw the doors closing as they were all waving to me with big goofy smiles on their faces. I laughed and walked back into my new apartment. I looked around, admiring my new place. It was pretty nice. The walls were light purple and the room was covered with decoration in different shades of purple as well as grey and white. There was a comfy-looking couch and a big TV. I looked in to the kitchen, which was pretty much in the same room as the living room. It was modern, not to big and without all those fancy stuff everyone had these days. I walked back into the hallway, and walk down it. There were three doors. I opened the first one to reveal a beautiful bathroom. It was a lot bigger than I had expected it to be, with a large shower that could probably room five people, a large sink and a many cabinets that were filled with towels. I closed the door to the bathroom and moved on to the next door. This was a combined guest-bedroom and office. I was decorated in a simple style with brown and beige colours. The last room was my bedroom. I wasn’t too big, but just perfect. This was always decorated in shades of purple, but it had light grey walls. It was beautiful. Inside the bedroom there was another door. A small walk-in-closet. I gasped at sight. I had, like all girls, always dreamt of having a walk-in-closet.
After walking around my apartment for a while taking in all of the different rooms, I started unpacking. The apartment was already fully furnished and decorated, so all I needed to bring was personal things like photos and clothes and stuff.
The next day I woke up early and continued unpacking. I got to use the kitchen for the first time, and made myself some egg and bacon from the few groceries that were in my fridge. I decided to go out for a while and look at what shops were around and where the closest Starbucks were. I needed Starbucks. I got dressed in my light blue skinny jeans, my The Beatles t-shirt, converse and a grey jacket. I left my blonde hair up in a ponytail and left my face without make up. I had never been bothered about makeup and only wore a little once in a while. Today was a sunny day(surprisingly), so I decided to drop the makeup. As I reached the lobby I suddenly thought about the four boys from the day before. Andy, Joel, Ryan and Adam. I chuckled as I left the building.
After about three hours I had found a lot of shops. I had found myself a new pair of boyfriend-jeans, a few tops and a t-shirt. I had also found a Starbucks where I had found myself a quiet corner and a grocery shop where I had bought a whole lot of stuff I needed. I came back in the now familiar lobby, packed with bags.
“We have to stop meeting like this,” A familiar voice said in front of me.
