"How much are we even gonna get paid?"

"I am Groot."

"Really? that low? If it weren't for Quill I wouldn't have agreed for that much."

"Money is money,Rocket,you gotta be satisfied with what you have." I tell him,he stares at me a bit angered and walks ahead of us.

"I am Groot."

"I'm not angry at either of you now quit it.' Rocket answers to his tall friend.

Peter and the rest of our team decided to rest up and they decided to leave all the work to us today,just because we're animals he decided to send us away.

I held the gun close to me as I began to sniff and felt my ear twitch when I heard something near us. The three of us exchanged looks and stared around the forest, "That was just a small animal relax." When we began to walk a big animals emerged from the bushes.

"Run!" Rocket shouted and we began to run and hid along with Groot, "Now we'll never find what we were looking for,what was it?" Rocket says looking at my direction.

"A lizard."

"Really? we're risking our life just for a lizard?!"

"I am Groot."

"Wow I never knew it would be that much."

"Yeah it's blood is worth a ton-"

"But they aren't even gonna us half!"

I glare at Rocket, "You gotta behave man! Are you always gonna be like this?"

Groot gasps as I tell Rocket, "I mean sure we're in this team and we have missions almost everyday but you gotta get used to it."

I cross my arms and stare at my friend who stares down at the ground, "You're right..I just miss our lives before we joined Peter. We to have fun."

I nod my head, "I do miss the old days,but the important thing is that we've been together ever since,we can still have fun."

"You're right (Y/N), let's go and get that ugly lizard then."

I am so sorry if this felt like such a rush and I really had no idea what to write about,so if who ever requested this one then feel free to tell me if you liked it or not that much and i'll write another one. Also i wanted to ask you all,which song out of Vol 2 do you like the most?
