The air felt hotter, and the lights in this room did no good; I could barely see a thing. I started hearing things, but I don't know who's talking. I don't even see Rick anymore. I'm in the middle of some greatly wide and open place, and it's extremely bright, wherever it is that I'm at. Suddenly, I felt myself being lifted uncontrollably. I looked up to see where I was heading, and the sky above me was getting darker and darker as I looked into it. I couldn't bring myself to close my eyes, and I desperately wanted to see the light again. I looked back down to see an endless abyss under me. I suddenly began to fall and I landed on my back. I was confused, as just a moment ago the floor seemed to be nowhere, but I was now in a box. It shrunk until it practically wrapped me. I felt as if I was tied down against the floor. I cried for help, but my voice was drowned as I heard a loud whistle from a train. It was approaching me, and when it was only inches away from my face it turned into dirt and covered me. I was buried underground now, and water slowly began to fill what little air I had left. But it wasn't water; it had become an overwhelming wave of my least favorite bugs and the dirt below me shifted above into the shapes of animals that made my skin crawled more than the disgusting maggots and earwigs were. The animals had carried me to a strange, crowded city. It was full of familiar faces that had caused me pain and trauma, and they came in copies. When they had all formed a herd, they began to rot and their skin molted. They ripped off their skins and turned into terrifying creatures impossible to describe, even with photos. They all spoke at once, but not in harmony. They're a cacophony with the volume of a blaring trumpet in the ears, and they sounded like (the sound that scares you the most), yet I could still understand what they were all saying. Telling me of all my greatest fears and reminding me of dark memories, I was on the brink of tears and fled, but they chased me. I ran as fast as I could, but I couldn't beat their speed. They all surrounded me in seconds and their hands pierced my skin with their inexplicably cold hands. I finally mustered the strength to close my eyes and cover my ears. "This is not real..."

I stayed in my fetal position for a few minutes before realizing that the cold pain was gone. I peeked one eye open, and I found myself in Rick's bedroom. I stood up and looked at Rick. I wanted to ask him why the Hell he'd do something like that to me- whatever it was that just happened- but I felt this strange force compelling me to stay quiet.

Rick told me, "That drink was what I was actually working on all day. That trail mix thing was just to throw you off the side- I've had that for a while now. If you're trying to insult me, don't bother: it's a truth serum, except you can only answer to questions. Basically, you have no choice but to shut the fuck up at my will. So this time, I'm gonna get the answers that I want." He's right. I couldn't talk no matter how much I wanted to. I couldn't even try to strain my voice or move my jaw. "So, _, what do you know about my family?"

"Anything that the show has revealed." The words opened my mouth without my will. The feeling chilled my spine.

"What do you know about my past?"

"I'm not sure if what I believe is correct. I'm uncertain."

"Who are my makers?"

"Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon."

"Do you like them for creating me?"

"Yes." I looked down. I felt ashamed to tell him this.

"Does that make you feel guilty?"

"Yes."

"What would happen to me if I killed them?"

"I can't say for sure. The show will most likely be cancelled."

"And if that were to happen, what would happen to my universe?"

"I don't know."

"Are you a spy?"

"No."

"Are you as innocent as you say you are, then?"

"I am now."

"What the fuck does that mean?"

"When you first questioned my motives, I had not told you that I'm familiar with the show, and this made me remorseful. You know this secret of mine now, so I have nothing to be guilty of anymore."

"Do you actually think you love me?"

"Yes."

"Do you ever consider that you're just some fan confused about their emotions?"

"Yes." I felt so embarrassed my cheeks burned.

"Do you have anything you want to say?"

"Yes."

"Are you actually gonna say it if I let you?"

"...No."

Rick belched. "Then congratulations, you're officially off the hook, _." He tossed me a small vile and added, "Don't hop back on it." He looked at me, noticing my curiosity killing me. "One question."

"What was that scary trip I just went through?"

"I don't think you'd understand it, but to put it simply I tried to mash in a bunch of phobias that you might have and the fear is a chemical that triggered the mental block to talk at will. Now, I could go on about what exactly is blocking it, but I'm not excellent at explaining the link of psychology to physical effects on the body." I slowly nodded. Some genius. "Okay, I can. But I don't want to, capiche? I just want to get a nice glass of rum and Coke and lay back."

"I could go for that, too." I hinted for an invitation.

"Go get some of your own, then. Yeesh, you realize I like time to myself like any other Rick?" He left his room.

Sorry, I know this chapter is suuuper short! ...Unless you guys are OK with this length?

Actually, can I just like.. ask you guys a couple of questions? Please answer with comments u.u it helps me adjust the story to everyone.

First Q: Do you prefer the length of my regular chapters? Or would you rather have chapters like this one?

Second (and the more important  one 😏) Just fluff? Or should I add lemon (no kinky business tho)?

Just wondering: You guys into Q+As?

Lastly: I tried to include as many phobias as possible to make it relate to you, readers! So did I fail? If so, what phobia did I leave out? If I reminded you of any of your fears, which fear is it?
